The thing that makes me not want to play is, that it's rare to find a server where i can have good games. By that i mean, 1 team not always being 1 sided and full of snipers that refuse to attack the objective or take a flag. It's a rare occasion where both teams are actually working as a team for more than 2 rounds in a row.

Sadly you'll need to wait a fair bit for that to happen - once the game settle down a bit and most people move on for the next big thing the really motivated people will stick along and you'll have a great time. I have been playing some Quake 4 lately and even though the game is pretty much dead I have a great time every round because those that are still playing knows what they're doing. :)

Quake 4 still has players online? Last time i tried to play it was DEAD. I loved that game when it was New and ppl were actually playing it online. I sucked bad at it, but it was still pretty fun.

And you never know. I said the same thing about 2142 "With time, players will get better and everyone will know what to do" Wrong! The n00bs were always present. lol

I've wondered the same thing. But my school year is winding down and I have to try and raise some grades these last weeks. Afterwards though, I will likely be back for the summer. When I play I greatly enjoy myself, but for some reason I only play this game in small bursts (2-4 rounds) anyone do the same? I can remember spending entire days on 2142.

Like 20 people online in EU lol. Dead pretty much, but enough for a game or two.

I still enjoy the game, but I am becoming more and more annoyed with DICE's inability to address game breaking issues a full 2 months after release.
