We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
It's not that it affects people. But some people enjoy fair play and dislike cheaters. In any game. It's the same as any discussion...it's a discussion. No different then guys sitting at a bar bitching about other things.
True,the points are meaningless except they do provide more weapons and more perks to the player. THAT is a huge advantage. The M416 is a better weapon, yes?
The fact that some people feel the need to stat-pad, or hack is just their need to feel competent. Their skills are not good enough to compete fairly, so they feel they are entitled to an advantage. That the hack somehow levels their playing field.
This discussion is good because many of us feel that the hackers ruin the game for many of us. But this DOES affect many players. ME in particular. I have fair skills, and I appreciate better players IF they play me w/o hacks. I can hold my own, but I will never be the best in any game. IF you feel the need to cheat against a player like me, then my only recourse is to not play at all, or find a clan, or server that provides protection from them. This shows we care about gaming, fair and balanced gaming.
sure, lol its so freaking obvious even the fact that the actual best players(not the best ones but the most addicted and no lifers for sure) have almost the double of the timeplayed
luckily, nothing is really dependent on your rank like BF2 and BF2142 were (commander priority was given to higher ranks). so it doesn't really affect the game and so i don't care if they're lvl 50 or not.
without global leaderboards, i bet many of these guys wouldn't bother stat padding. they're only doing it for attention, to be shown at top of the leaderboards.
I think he was calling him a cheater for the fact that he cheated the stat system.

I wonder why EA didnt set a minimum number of players to start the round like they did in BF2. That would cut back on some padding.
It didn't stop him in previous games, they always find a way. I am more wary of hackers, since those you are more likely to face in a "real" server, even unranked ones; and there is very little you can do against a headshot hack.
stat padders won't play pub servers usually, they'll be confined to their own server, where they can set "their" rules; since facing any kind of real competition puts in evidence their lack of skill

I noticed this in the Beta but thought they would have implemented it in the actual retail product.
Make it 4 to stop dummy accounts and padding being able to start a game would be a sensible idea.
I still say the only reward he should get is all his stats reset to o and loose all his ranks/badges/pins and unlocks. It would serve him right :salute:
I looked, one guy at 35 then all of a sudden, 50?? Look at his K/D ratio. Impossible. Trust me, he's has cheats or stats padding. I met this guy on BF2 also, he just padds, and he's the highest rank! n00b lol
