Explosive+Sniper=Fail

Okay I'm not trying to hate the sniper class anymore then it should be, but I truly felt that giving explosive to snipers was an extremely fail move. I mean when was the last time a sniper left his bush or rock? It's bad enough that it's such a viable technique it was given to someone who's always miles away from the action.
-I hear that assault class get some kind of c4 as well but that's a later unlock.

I m not sure if it's just me but I seen too many snipers that get roadkilled trying to attach explosives on my tank :laugh:

The explosive is not that bad, most wannabes snipers camp in the back and have no use for it.

I hate the mortar more.

Wow let me know where you play lol! I use mine for spawning safely at a distance so I guess they are good for something. Most snipers I play with thinks the c4 is some kind of breath-a-lizer :P

I in Eastern US Coast near Chicago and New York.

I usually join servers where I have under 80 ping. So I would say my area of activity is no further than central US.

what else would the snipers use. i always remember sniper/recon kits having c4 or something like that.

Lets face it, Dice have always been in love with the Recon class.

• You cant destroy armor in one go
• You have no way of detecting unseen enemies
• You cant be good at both CQB, longrange and anti-vehicle in one class
• You must look different from the opposing team
• You are not supposed to one-shot kill
• You need teammates for Ammo/Heal/Anti-Armour.

Unless you play as Recon, in which case you can disregard all of the above.

C4 isnt avaiable to all classes, Assault gets in when they choose a weapon without the GL.
I think Recon should be forced to choose between the sniper rifle and C4 too. Play as Sniper or SpecOps, not both

3 noob tube attachment that shoots sticky C4.
4 radar ball
5 motar strike
6 heal pack
7 ammo pack
8 wrench
9 mobile UAV remote control

Well if your Assualt and you choose to equip a Shotgun then it gives you C4 that the only way to get it, but most smart recon go for the Mortor Strike as its more effective than C4.

Its a recon class. They handle demolition in BF and always has. Who else should get the C4? Any other class than probably medic would be way too overpowered then medics would be blowing themselves up instead of reviving the recons

Then take away the sniper rifle. They do too many things too well on their own.
