If they can keep this level of destruction and expand the map size for jets etc in Battlefield 3, it really will blow me away.

I can't go back to BF2 after playing this game.

I hate when ppl try to compare BC2 to BF2. It has been clearly stated that Bad Company is a spin-off of the Battlefield series. It is not BF2. It isn't trying to be BF2, so don't make out to be like that. Once you get passed that and stop comparing it, the game is a lot better. BC2 is a lot of fun. The new game modes are very entertaining and new to us PC players.

I know we all want to play BF3, but that is not for a while, so just appreciate BC2 for what it is. A great game!

BF:BC2 is fun, but it's no BF2. No commander, no prone, choppy graphics and gameplay, unclear game objectives (how much time do you get to blow up enemy stuff??), and server browser is just awful.

Now, the bf2 server browser was bad by today's terms, but almost 6 years after the release of BF2, the BF: BC2 browser should have been eons better. Hell, it's worse than BF 2142's server browser. You'd think Dice would know better. WTF????

All in all it's a fun game and I'm sure the bugs will be fixed. But even then, it'll be no BF2!!!

I feel your pain buddy. I agree with you one HUNDRED percent. It has been a huge disappointment. My thread for this lousy server thing has been deleted with no explanation whatsoever. The game play is unmistakably one big step back... BTW, Dice's track record of fixing bugs was not stellar.

This is consolised bs. Thats what this is. Get use to it, and just prey DICE keeps BF3 off the console, and gives us some cool **** in it and brings back traditional BF2. In this case, people do want to buy the same ****. We want new maps, new graphics new vehicles, same gameplay. If DICE could leave the gameplay part alone and keep it true to the Battlefield series, and by that I am referring to BF1942, Desert Combat, BFV, and BF2!

BC2 isnt supposed to be BF2 or a sequal to it, BC2 is a sequal to BC1 on the Consoles. Be grateful PC gamers even got a BF game this year else you'd be waiting for BF3.

You will have to wait and see what BF3 brings as far as commander or prone goes but I doubt prone will be in it either.

I cant be bothered retyping if people cant be bothered reading it.

Yeah, i haven't been banned from servers for completely retarded reasons yet i haven't even been kicked yet! and i could swear i've used the jump key at least once since i've started playing, pressing the jump key even by accident is usually reason for permanent ban in BF2.

i certainly do! Games are supposed to advance and get better. It takes a little from all the past games and puts it on steroids If this was just an updated BF2 i would have been disappointed. If this is the future of BF i am onboard :salute:

Really? That's what we all want? As someone who's played since 1942, I wouldn't go speaking for everybody if I were you. I'm loving the hell out of Bad Company 2.

It's not meant to be BF2. If it was, it'd be called Battlefield 2-2 or something. It's an entirely separate segment of the Battlefield series, what about that do you not understand?
