The highest rank is 50, you need 5, 200, 000 points for that rank. Also I didn't know they had platinum stars for the different weapons, they are worth 10,000 points each. Also some of the insignias are worth 10, 000 points. These are straight from the Prima essential guide that I just bought from Gamestop.

I played under 10 hours and i am at rank 9... got best player of the game around 10 times with "average" total score of 4000... Got lots of silver, bronze stars and 5000 points badge of excellency :) i got a k/d ratio of 1.45... i am consider myself an average player and a BF veteran. It is totaly possible to be well over rank 20. If i didnt have a full time job and a wife i would of been over that easly... Cya on the battlefield Soldiers !!

Platinum stars are achieved by getting 1,000 kills with the same weapon.

I topped the scoreboard with 2 kills. Medic whoring ftw.

As for having to unlock the defib/medbox, it only makes you look **** for not healing/reviving team mates when you haven't even unlocked those. Same for the assault ammo box.
