HC mode is fail mode from what i've played so far. there is no point in spotting.

Juno just a wild shot in the dark here, would you by any chance know how to help me change my gamertag linked to my EA account to another EA account i have?

I had this problem as my PS3 account was linked to a different account from my PC BF tag. I just emailed the customer support and they sorted it out for me. Now all my tags are in one account.

I just had a HC round, and I must say that the game mode seems like an afterthought.
The UAV is almost useless except for roadkill, and most mounted weapons lack a crosshair.

On the possitive side, everyone and their dog is playing sniper, so if you manage to flank them you can more or less shoot the entire enemy team in the back.

It's a casual mode, I hope they give us an option to filter HC servers out in the server browser.

nice, Gives the little black piece of tape I put in the middle of my screen more use! Than knowing where to actually aim with BF2 weapons as the sights are completely retarded!

I'm just the opposite; I'd rather keep normal damage and just remove the crosshairs and HUD stuff (despite being addicted to using the fickle-but-satisfying 870 MCS). :p

Maybe that would cut down on the amount of Saiga noobs, too. :hmm:

Jesus, press "M" ffs. Hard core=no hud. Sensors and spotting, you need to take out your map. Works perfectly. Iron sights for the Tube and mounted weapons are another story, but weapon damage is where it should be, there is NO 1 shot kills (except for headshots, and the odd shotty).
You actually have to use your brain in hardcore, run and gun guys usually lose over the more tactically minded player - as it should be.

COD HC is way better than BC2 HC. BC2 HC feels like unfinished.

The "unfinished" part is obvious, with missing crosshairs etc.
But is COD HC better? That is an entirely different discussion (and a very long one too). I personally prefer BC to COD in both standard and HC mode.

I very much doubt that it should be gone from the mounted weapons, and others without ironsights.
And while BC HC indeed appears to be an aftertorught, it still relies on a core gameplay that is vastly superior to COD. At least based on the Beta.
COD HC is more polished, but when you get down to the core of it..... I think I will just let a picture do the talking .
