I don't get the big deal with prone. In the end it doesn't matter, because if the last two PC BF games has taught us anything, people will flock to the most cluster****ish maps with the most bottleneck areas where only medic and support is required, then spam hand grenades and other explosives ad nauseum until the game finally tells you the round is over. For the poster who was wondering why DICE seems to be going the way of the mindless shooter, just gaze at the sheer quantity of 24/7 Gib and 24/7 Karkand servers and you have your answer. The people still playing the game have shown what they want, so why should DICE put something like prone in the game when people really just want an explosives spamfest game and prone doesn't help with throwing nor evading explosions (aside from sticking your head into a wall to avoid a nade, which is a glitch)?
