What about those people I see that seem to have The Flash speed. Like they are moving faster than me and everyone else even though I have marathon and lightweight perks equipped.

so you're saying if you swap out your primary for a pistol and then swap out your secondary to a AR, then your speed is determined by pistol? i'm confused.

Yes

Think of it like this:

Primary Weapon - Assault Rifle - Switch to a Magnum found of floor.

Secondary Weapon - USP.45 - Switch to the Assault Rifle you just dropped.

If you did this your Primary Weapon would actually be the Magnum, therefore you would move at the fastest possible speed (not accounting for Lightweight).

that's somewhat of an exploit. the system that i'd like to see is every equipment having a certain weight and that added up being you total speed. other games use this logical method to determine speed.

Yes

Think of it like this:

Primary Weapon - Assault Rifle - Switch to a Magnum found of floor.

If you did this your Primary Weapon would actually be the Magnum, therefore you would move at the fastest possible speed (not accounting for Lightweight).

So you could go from 80% to 100% speed if you use this trick with a Riotshield and a SMG?

When laying sentries it dies, and i think the same for packages.

Those people are using a little trick. I found out about it after playing Killing Floor. Some items have little to no weight, and your speed benefits from that...

When laying sentries it dies, and i think the same for packages.

I'm not talking about where it goes while capturing the box or emplacing the actual sentry gun, you know.

You need stand on you marker and catch the crate before it hits the ground. Somehow this will reset the weight of your primary item.
