Out of about 8 rounds, 2 have been playable. It keeps putting me in with Russians with one bar.
Three times I have waited in a lobby searching for players, loaded the map, and got : Server connection timed out.

Epic fail.

I havent had the problem at all and last night i was playing with germans and ppl form all over the world with not problem at all. Runs great for me. Anyone else having this problem ?

BY the way. this out to everyone add me to your steam friends list, i like to play some Co op or multiplayer with you guys sometime.

Most ppl in our clan got it. I'm from Perth too and we have a member from Mandurah and he has no problems playing with rest of the boys from Melbourne.Only complaints they got is rego .

Yep i have been playing on my console for about 1.5 hours and thankfully there has been no lag and no real problems. Occasionally i have to wait a bit to find a decent server but thats just due to my area. However, so far so good.

Man nothing changed for the console, really if you liked CoD4 on the consoles you will like MW2.

nah i think it s because europe has very cheap internet you can get
25 mb/sec for like 35-40 bucks.

I'm having a blast even on my slow connection I rarely experience lag, but I think IWNet is right no experiencing some problems (in the last 10min).

Well, here's my thoughts on the game because I walked into a Gamespot this afternoon thinking it would be sold out (all my buddies had it pre-ordered), and found that they just had plenty of copies lying around. So +1 for me.

Anyway - the game is just what I thought it would be. The SP the MP - everything. The game is just... really easy.

I can't find one gun that has any real amount of recoil on it, and it seems that as you progress through the ranks (which are MASSIVE and overwhelming at first :P) - you just unlock easier and easier ways to get cheap kills.

The massive air strikes... the sentry guns... the explosives... the rocket launchers... the guns... they're all just - meh. They reallly concentrated on having just lots of stuff instead of using that effort to make a better game.

TBH I'm not disappointed, and the MP is really fun, especially when you got some buddies to play with, and SP... I haven't really done anything other than the first few levels, but thats my opinion of the game in a nutshell.

I would say get the PC version if you're PC is better then your PS3... simply because of the graphics, and FPS games just feel better when you play with a mouse and keyboard (though you can do this with PS3, but you'd need to buy something first)

IWNet finds servers that you ping less then 100ms for... although you can still follow a friend and play on servers in USA/UK etc. - We had a USA guy play with a bunch of us in UK, and he's used to getting around 100-150 ping... he got 3/4 bars on the ping graph (which is the same on COD4) - so he still had a good connection to the server...

My first impressions is the game is very fun and seems to be working well. I wish they didnt change all the keyboard layouts as I have to figure out how to adjust them.

I have not had enough time to dig deeper into it though.
