yes it does, snipers use camouflage and act as recon units behind enemy lines. Marksmen move with the squad and snipe guys.

Hell, the "IRL" thing doesn't apply here, either. Even guys with AKs are referred to as snipers if they're shooting from concealment. No ghillie suit or even a "sniper rifle" is required.

So if a player has a sniper rifle but no ghille suit like in a lot of other games then he's not referred to in the gaming community as a sniper? What about all the other Battlefield games then? Were not talking about real life here were talking about a game. If a class has a sniper rifle people refer to them as snipers whether they are snipers or marksman its just a term the gaming community use. Regardless of the name in real life my point is still valid.

A ghille suit isn't what makes a sniper. The sniper rifle is what makes a sniper. There are plenty of games including every other Battlefield bar BC1 that don't have snipers with ghille suits.So this is a load of rubbish.

I realise this but its a BS statement. Like I said, why would you take out prone just because of a skin on 1 class. Its a ghille suit FFS what did they expect??? Unless they are really stupid or think we are why would anyone believe this statement?

Seeing as they had such trouble removing insta proning, I couldn`t care less about no prone in BC2.

We're talking about BF:BC and not BF2, so it makes more sense to just crouch and revive because well... its common sense. BF2 never had much of that.

how about giving us prone in realism mode only?

how real is not being able to prone? i mean there are guns with bipods, aren't they meant to be used primarily in prone position?

if its was only hardcore mode id be satisfied

Obviously you weren't a good medic because I can tell you that you could defib a person while running over their body thus wasting no time proning or crouching. :P

dude you really DONT waste any time when proning to revive someone, it is actually very fast (when done correctly) and it makes your hitbox harder to shoot.
