Idk, but my friend got his RROD'd 4 times. He told me after he got the Nyko xbox cooler it stopped RRODing and so I got it when I bought my xbox. Never rrod'd and the cooler is only 20 USD
I read it and i stick with my comment, why buy a second hand xbox that may cost you more in the long run when it RROD's or just go out a buy a new one for not that much more at the current price and have the warranty and guarantee it wont RROD?
I had a BRAND NEW 360 and within 2 weeks got the RROD so to me the new models are a must.
Dear *cough*noobish*cough* Xbox 360 owners. There has been much talk about the "red ring of Death" that has plauged your evil console. We have done absolutely no research and have come to the conclusion that The very 360 you own HAS A RED RING!!!! DONT TURN IT ON OR YOU WILL DIE. Throw it in a bin, throw the bin off a cliff and buy a PS3. Its made by sony. We know you like sony. Everybody loves sony
Meh, I just made that up. It sucks. 360 fanboys probably say worse about the PS3.
I hate the competition. Xbox or PS3, doesn't matter imo. It just depends what friends you have to play with online. I still say PC is the best, but I also like how PS3 fanboys at school tell me PC is worse then the Xbox because and I quote

"THE PC IS ONLY GOOD FOR WORD PROCESSING"
yeah. For me its
"Xbox or PS3?"
"PC DUMB BIATCHES!!!!"
Its funny, I do see what you guys say where consolers are stupid. One of my friends believes death streaks in MW2 is a good idea because it provides people with "chances". Seriously, they have chances, its called playing the game over and over again to get better because its only a game, its not real life!!!
sry to say this but 360 is a pile of junk it s a fact you will olways live in fear of getting rrod. And those chipsets that they are making they dont do a thing.
If microsoft rly wanted to get rid of RROD that would mean that they have to rebuild the console from ground up. The real problem of the 360 is the desin itself the cpu doest have a fan op top of it, like pc and like a ps3. So they are trying to cover it up by bringen new chisets evry mounth.
And dont get me wrong i m not a fanboy at all i owned a 360 myself the thing broke 5 times on me i dont know about you but to me it s crazy. I have my ps3 sins the launch and had 0 problems whit it.
Between my three roommates and myself, there are three 360's, a PS2, and a Wii. The PS2 is constantly having issues, whilst the 360s have never missed a beat. It really does just depend on the particular manufacturing run. The Jasper and newer chipsets DO have more stability, but it still comes down to the particular run.

I have a 360, PS2, Xbox, N64, and Wii. None of them have had issues as of yet. Maybe I'm just lucky, or I actually take care of my sh!t.
