The new map is great, which I forgot to mention. I dont see how it has too much fog, there is no way karkand has any less fog than operation blue pearl. Without fog, somebody could just use the crane and pick off the entire team.

When I first played this patch everything was working fine, but im slowly starting to hate this patch more and more.

-Has anyone found a way to get into servers? I had a temporary solution that doesnt work anymore, which was to click on a favourite that hasnt updated (in red) and then click on the server you want to enter. But it suddenly stopped working.
-Has anyone found a controls fix? Now i see people going still at the start of the round, as if they have made clearing the falcon controls a routine. When I actually get into the server, that is.

Major Con, no US based servers with map rotation that are populated. I'm getting sick of Operation Blue Pear, we are playing Battlefield, not Call of Duty, get over the CQB.

It's a new map, makes sense for people to want to try something new, no? Besides, you can always revert back to 1.4 if you're sick of Blue Pearl.

1.50 BETA has seriously improved my game to the point where its fun to play again. I wanna enjoy the rest of the maps, not to mention Tampa with the attack choppers while it lasts! OBP sucks, to much fog, screw systems from 5 years ago.

I find it pretty fun, there isn't a Chinese/US city map soo it kinda fills the gap.

I suppose you're right, you can either try and find a rotating map server (I've seen a few, but most aren't very populated, most people I've seen on a non Blue Pearl server was around 20.), or just wait until 1.50 final. But by then the attack choppers on Tampa will probably be gone.

hey i resent that. everyone here keeps on saying how much EVERYONE has a powerful enough computer to run everything with highest settings, sure, my parents computer may be only a year old but it is a very low end system, I have to run every other game on lowest settings except battlefield but it still struggles on high settings. Stop being so selfish :shakehead:

How are we being the selfish ones? I think you're the selfish one for wanting to hold everyone else back. If everything revolved around people like you, we would all be playing Unreal Engine and Quake III engine games to this day. :shakehead:

LoL, now there is a rotating server, but A. I can't connect to it consistently because of one of 1.50 BETA issues and B. finally when I got in I got a CTD and back to A.

Once I'm in, the game seems more responsive or tactile; I aim at something, I hit that something and kill it. That stutter is gone where I run and then find myself back where I started and the zoom in stutter/reload seems to have been resolved.

I think they should make the temple an uncapped flag from the start of the game to delay the anti-tank/sniper/support brigade from just setting up camp there from point one and give the US as blackhawk to help open the map up. ATM its a nightmare trying to land in a boat. Also double the amount of APC's in the 64 player version.

Highway tamps with choppers =nightmare.:dead: Lose the jet and make the upcaps cappable. That would dynammically change the way the maps play.

It was weird actually aiming at people and hitting them most of the time. I have been playing cod4 for the last few weeks and its so nice to go back to bf2 and have the hitboxes improved.

I just wish they had nerfed soloing choppers once and for all. IMHO its just an exploit as they where never meant to be used like that. I can solo but would much rather fly as a team (yes I do get frustrated by greedy pub pilots).

You know what, you're right. Now I am completely outraged that my laptop with a GeForce 6100m, which plays BF1942 just fine, only gets 15 FPS on 16 player maps on the lowest possible settings in BF2. I demand that they limit everyone else to playing on 8 player maps and player limits because it's not fair for anyone else to have something better than what I have.

And you know what, my van isn't very fast but I want to win drag races in it. So I demand that everyone else not drive so fast, so that I can have a chance. I don't have the money to buy a fast car, so everyone else needs to come down to my level.
Oh, and my house is small because I don't pay much money for it. I demand that everyone else demolish everything on their houses that makes them bigger than mine.
And there are kids in Somalia that are hungry because they are too poor to have any food. So now everyone needs to throw their food away and only eat one slice of moldy bread and drink one glass of dirty water a day from now on.

So, are you hungry and cold and dirty yet?
If we're going to be fair about everything, don't puss out on me now. Hypocrite.

Or maybe you should just get with the program and upgrade your computer to not suck. Or you can accept the fact that technology moves forward with or without your consent.
