I can't seem to join online servers, every time I try to connect the music fades away as usual... but then I end up looking at the server screen again

Anyone has any ideas?

cant seem to load in to servers, it just goes back to the server list with no reason!

I assume you've rebooted your PC since you installed the patch?

Yeah that is annoying. Never happens in SP (at least not for me) so it seems like a lag issue

Yeah, and it's not only sniper rifles (nor only BF2, I get it in 2142 with all weapons as well). And yes, it's irritating. It usually culminates with my character twitching for a few seconds and being unable to run or jump or do anything quickly until the lag irons itself out. Most annoying when you're under fire and trying to escape or fight back.

The new map is awesome though - very nice design and the visuals are also good. I can't see it becoming the new Karkand, but it's a damn lot of fun. Maybe a bit too small for 64 players though.

1) Server browser bug clicking to connect to a server occasionaly you get a black screen as thought it was going to start loading the map then you get kicked back to browser.

Yes i have been getting this alot with no error message, like i normally would telling me what's wrong.

Also if i click the BF2 icon on my desktop it will take ages before anything even happens, ( GAME STARTS ).

No dolphin diving can only be a GOOD THING !!!

Blue Pearl is unplayable for I/O. As long the Chinse team has AT guys set up on shore there is no way to get to the shore. Out of Bound area prevents you from doing any sort of flanking, and keeps you withing range of the rockets. Unless they expand the out of bounds area to the north I don't see this map being play too much.

Fix highway tampa they f'ed it up with choppers,It is like a whole new map now.I hate it.

Problems encountered:
-takes a lot longer to get to the login screen (so long I thought it had knack'd the settings), *.bik's are disabled so it's normally fast.
-can't login to the account server
ps. no expansion packs have been installed

I guess they must have gotten wind that people were playing Tampa so they could play armour and not get raped from the air from 300m away every time they turned around so they decided to fix it. Because we all know how boring it is being in a tank for more than 10 seconds without instantly dying.

Tampa must be a heligunner's wet dream right now.

They put choppers in tampa? That map was perfect BECAUSE it didn't have air rapemobiles D:

And AA isn't any better than it was before.
