Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
The MEC has 2 attack choppers,I do not know how much the USMC has.I find tampa was good for what it was before.Oh there is 2 more flags to + no uncaps which mean you can be capped out now.

Someone sure got the bad ideas department working overtime for this map =/
According to Bazajaytee, DICE has two versions of Tampa, the official one that was released earlier, and the alternate one that has attack helis in it. Whether releasing the alternate version with the patch was intentional or not, it appears that when 1.5 goes live, Tampa will be the same as the original they released (no attack helis).

Interesting. When you think about it, doing something like that in a Beta patch isn't a bad way to get some "real world" play-testing and gauge player reaction to a change they made. Although it's not always practical, sometimes it would be good for more of this kind of experimentation/testing before making long-term changes.

I sure hope this is the case.
HT is awesome specifically because it allows for pitched ground battles between armor, without any attack chopper interference. The terrain on that map would make it an absolute nightmare (and damn near unplayable) if even one attack heli per side was allowed.
Did notice some HitBox's seemed to be where they should be, meaning not Behind or Next to.
The BADD Times:
*Took about 15 attempts to join some servers.
*Only 5 mins of play and got a Blue Screen-O-Death reboot.
*BF2 Install all FUBARed after that, meaning couldnt revert back to v1.41.
*While tryin to reinstall BF2 from Complete Collection DVD she crashes w/ Blue Screen-O-Death 3 times when installing patch v1.1.
*Had to install manually from exploring the BF2 DVD per .exe.
*Yeah ahd I found two confirmed major HACKERS will playing for a short while. THEULTIMATEJIHAD and Bamboo Commando
Would be great if they would do something about the flying deathtraps aka transport helicopters. More armor or better firepower, I don't care which. At least give it something back after DICE has soiled it with the 17 completely unnecessary nerfs every patch.
so you want the return of the gunship helicopter that cant be taken down? do you not remember the immortal transport heli squads of engineers and medics? transport helis are fine, they can avoid everything except jets and attack helis. which is how things should work. the transport heli is just that, not a fighting vehicle. how about instead of re-breaking the transport heli, how about fixing the mother #$%@*^& AA missiles so the transport heli can have proper air support? its ridiculous that after all this time, AA missiles can still fly right up to the nimble fighters and then simply veer off course. thats the only thing keeping this game from being great, and yes it does ruin the game. except for non jet maps.
From what I've played on 1.5, I can say that I havent had this much fun playing bf2 in a long time.
Firstly, the hitboxes. Almost as dead-on as cod, and that just may be because it takes more shots to kill. My experience really stands out in this game now. I went 25-5 and I was half asleep. IMO the most important thing that needed fixing is fixed, even if we have to pay the price of introducing other bugs.
The j10 seems less versatile which is a good thing, havent tried it on an online server yet though.
The joystick setting problems really frustrated me, but once I get them figured out it wasn't an issue anymore.
Overall the game seems to be better optimized. With every patch my frames would go down by about 5, and thats on a 7600 gt. Now im running it maxed out at 50+ fps, with no hiccups.
Falcon.. Falcon? Why?
If the new map had one blackhawk on the usmc side, it would be forty-five times better.
I really think this patch is a success from what I've seen so far.
Now that you don't have a j10 to complain about, you guys are onto the AA :shakehead:.
