I always thought that BF2142 was the third game in the series. BF:BC and BFH are kind of spin offs, so wouldn't the next "true" Battlefield be Battlefield 4?

BF2142 is considered by many to be a spin off, too. Much like BF: Vietnam.

This generation is gonna be stretched more than previous, bad idea to build a new box in this economy, should easily get another 2-3 out of 360, ps3 has a long way to go. Only one I would say made upgrade would be nintendo but their not after the hardcore market anymore.
