i think the best will be hanging a bit back in cover, but not camping. also having a good swuad which revives helps. cover, good team, distance,ammo, and weak enemies all together give you huge kd. especially as eu around harbor and pac base.

^lol, I like how people can just be speaking about BF2142 in general terms and it's apparently a foregone conclusion that they're talking about Gib since they can slip the names of Gib's flags into the conversation without any sort of preface. :laugh:

yeah camp g 64 man as support. then just nade spam those choke points!

actually 64 man server can be pretty easy to sneak up behind the opposing team at the choke points and knife a whole squad. They are so focused on nade spamming in front of them that you can take 4-5 of them out before someone finds you out. The down side is that there are usually no medics behind enemy lines, so once you die you are on your own.

That's just one of those jokes that's still funny every time I see it.

It's kind of the same with BF2. Someone can just mention 'Hotel', and immediately it's a Karkand topic, despite there being Hotel flags in a number of the maps (Mashtuur, Sharqi, Jalalabad, Oman...there are a lot of Hotels in the middle east, apparently).

back on topic. find a good squad that knows how to revive. so even if you are shot down in action, your streak will remain active

this isnt something that you can ask how to do and people tell you.. this is a complex issue that is only worked out through experience playing the game. you can get a 10 killsteak by doing almost anything. but situational awareness and intuition are very important traits.

I get my longest streaks when I stay put in a small area and defend it. But I usually go rambo and don't get further than 5 kills :laugh:

My streak is 34 so not really high.. 56!! OMG!!

Yeah, using the EU APC on Fall of Berlin in the F2 position is the way to go. Just make sure you pair up with a good driver that knows what they are doing and can get you close enough to work that mortar, but knows when to pull back and repair to keep your streak going.

sweet. I played for 8 hours today and i got a couple but not enough for the LOM. I wish my stats updated on 2142 stats so i could see what i need left.

not that i'm proud or anything, but i got my 54 kill streak spamming grenades from the rooftop of central camp into the cracked walls of ruins. it was hilarious getting 3-4 kills with every grenade. i must've killed some guys 6-7 times as those hard working medics made sure every one of my kills were revived to face another nade. my streak ended when i felt so bad i jumped off the roof and decided to fight fairly on the ground. the next thing i know, i got hit with a nade over the walls and died, losing my streak.

my other high streak was i think 52, i got that with a gunship as a gunner. then i had close to 50 with a tank on belgrade.

gotta love them 64-man servers.
