my old soldier Field_Boy is on pbbans because Akz99 name spoofed me.

At least they run a 24/7 all map setup. Full rotation with no exceptions (save for NS of course).

Unfortunately, players who have been spoofed always got kicked from the FLOT server because of the way the FLOT servers were (are?) set up.

So, unless they've improved their setup in the last few days, you'll not be able to use your old soldier on FLOT, even though there is no reason that you should not be able to use it anywhere else.

To have PBBans automatically kick players who have bans against them, all a server needs to do is set up normal streaming to PBBans. Simple.

By blindly adding ALL the names from the MBi, the FLOT people have reduced the effectiveness of PBBans, as innocent players get needlessly kicked.

Even if those players subsequently complain about their unfair kick in the forum, they will just be told to play somewhere else till the system is changed (with no definite date given for that change).

(by the way, yes, that's what happened to me, so yes I am talking from experience)

Between barring the way to several thousand cheaters even if it means a few false positives, and letting the horde loose without restrictions, it's pretty logical one will favor the former option.

Not logical at all, as you would still bar the thousands of cheats simply by having normal streaming in place.


Additionally banning aliases means that you also ban innocent players (through no fault of their own) if they have also used those aliases. Using your method, you add no fairness to the system. You only subtract fairness. That's why it's not logical.

Do what i do best.. Tk and revive. I dotn give a damn Ill do it for ever and ask people to join in ..making it unplayable... i'll quickly on the fly set the tk limit to 99999999 then just have at it
