No whining from me. Today is a good day for me. A patch coming for cod:ww and two new battlefield games. It's like christmas.

To many people are jumping the gun on so little info. Hope some of you people never end up on a jury. found guilty before the defense gives their opening statement.

They have given their opening statement. At least, for BF1943.

They say in the "About" section that it will be up to 24 players and match-making.

BF1943 will also feature 3 player classes, no support soldiers or medics, and unlimited ammo + health regeneration - I don't mind health generation at all, but unlimited ammo together with 3 maps and 24 players just ruins it.

BF1943 is targeted at the casual gamers, hopefully BC2 on PC won't.

What i think their doing with bf1943 is just like the 3v3 hockey game that ea put out a few weeks ago. Its just a fun little game for around 10 bucks. If you don't like don't buy its easy as that.

I want a big BF just like everyone else. Just because they are doing it on all platforms don't mean that can't do it right on the pc. Dice is not some small little company that has it offices in some dark alley. They can work on more the one thing at a time.

At the end of the day dice needs to make money. I know its crazy, but thats how the world works. You would do the same.

No Doubt that I understand their need to raise some kind of capital to put forward. And I'm have a suspicion that they contracted this work out to another software group, much like how DiCE CA did work for Sweden.

it does seem the PC gaming market is slowly dieing/being merged with the console market. its kinda sad. other PC exclusives that are good are getting consolified, stalker is soon to be another example. I still reckon whoever decided it was a good idea to port FPS's on consoles should be shot. they should only be for sports games and 3rd person shooters IMO.

On another note, I wouldn't mind consoles so much if they'd just add f*cking keyboard and goddamn mouse support to the appropriate games. How hard is that, really!? It's pretty much inexcusable at this point in the evolution of gaming.

That's literally the ONLY reason I haven't purchased a "next-gen" console yet. Next-gen... pffft, maybe when you implement kb/m.

I don't see that happening for a long time because the difference between mouse and keyboard for FPS games is huge. Right now they have to sort the games between m&kb and controller. Kind of like how you can filter hardcore and softcore in CoD4.

Xbox controls aren't too bad but I find the PS3's controls impossible to use. It has some sort of progrssive acceleration which totaly fu**s with your natural reflexes.

I agree, not because I just <3 Sloi, because I agree.

If companies really knew what the hell was going on they would just create a console that you could plug a mouse and keyboard into. Add some PC qualities to that aspect and you have one awesome product that everyone is using...
