Over the past 6 years I have literally met thousands of people @ 21cw. Several hundred of those have become life-long friends that make me proud to be a part of 21CW every day, regardless of what side they play on or what side I play on its all about something greater than each individual.....the community.

I've been a part of 21CW since the beginning (May 2003) and have taken part in every single campaign since then. There truly is no better free and organized community experience out there. I would not still be playing BF2 if it wasn't for 21CW.

It's the most exciting experience in my gaming live. I've played in clans for several years (CS/BF2) but since I've discovered 21CW I focused on that tournament because everything happens on a much larger scale which is much more rewarding then winning a clan match.

I was bored of BF2 pub play so me and a few clan mates went in search of a tournament, we tried CAL, TWL and all that; but it didn't grab us. So we reluctantly tried 21CW and that was the best decision of my gaming life...

Its all about friendship for me.

Skill is not important. Look at [4TA]B|1Lt.Ed.
Skill is welcome, but personality comes first.

I joined almost six years ago when the tourney was on BF:1942 Desert Combat. Pub play since then became once a month, and i can say i almost never pub anymore. I dont need it as i get enough satisfaction from practises and the battles.

The battles are fun, and they arent mandatory. Play when you can. Real life always comes first. We have people ranging from 13 to 58, and yeah sometimes the oldies still outplay the younger ones. I guess its true that wisdom comes with the age, because teamwork definately owns skill.

You can only play the first 3 hours? no problem. You want to play the full 12 hours......go ahead :)

Organized combat, without the smacktarding aspect of pub play. You like to fly? Get in the airforce and you dont get tk'ed to get into a plane anymore lol.....
Same goes for armor. You rock in armor, get in the specialized armor company.

You like groundpounding, get in a line company and be the guy that actually takes the flag and make sure we have a bleed on the opponent. (har har @ airforce and armor )

The structure with real army ranks makes sure everything runs as a well oiled machine. If you are active, prepare for some medals handed out to you. Or even promotions.......how the hell did [4TA]B|1Lt.Ed get promoted??????? Jup, not because he is skilled but because he is a great personality and a even better teamwork player.

Really, if you are sick of vanilla bf2, looking for a good laugh (we got a couple crazy euros walking around together with some wacko canadians and americans) and just want to have fun, try it out. Its free!

If you dont like it, no problem, but you can only know if you like it or not if you try it out.

Im glad i tried it out. Wouldnt want to miss this at ALL!
Hell, even if the game will be changed to multiplayer solitaire i would even stay

I've played BF2 since it came out so many years ago. And before that I played Vietnam, CS, 1942, Doom etc. Sometimes I joined a clan like in BF2. We did some tournament stuff like TWL. But it was never great. I mean everyone went ramboing and did good, and when we worked together we did alright. Then one of my clan mates found 21CW, we all gave it a try and here I'm a few years later.

Something you should know about 21CW is that people follow a chain of Command. You maybe then say o thats boring, do I really have to listen to that guy. Well no it's not boring and you know what? The biggest reason it's not boring is because the people that are higher ranked than you are your friends or will be. They will not tell you to shut up if you come with ideas the right way. Instead they are going to give your ideas a try and make sure everyone try it. when you play together you will laugh together, it can be because your LT just got knifed, or because some pilot decided to drop a bomb and kill everyone.

One thing that I never though I would say is that Loosing is sometimes more fun than winning. The reason for that is because you lose with good friends. And you laugh about all the mistakes you do. The game is serious, the tournament is serious but everyone is there to be with friends, have a drink and lots of laughs.

When you have played 21Cw for more than 2 battles you will know what everyone here is trying to say. we don't play the game anymore because of the stunning graphics, or so that we can stat pad even more. But we play the game because our friends do, we play the game to have fun with friends around the world. Saturdays is days filled with friends around the world playing one game, and laughing their asses of at moments. and other moments show what the creators of the game meant when saying it was built for great team work and squad play.

If you live in Europe and think that this is only for NA. Your dead wrong. We have several committed European players like my self. We have regular practices Monday to Thursday starting at 20:00 British time. The battle starts every Saturday at 17:00 British time and ends at 05:00 British time
