ya i miss trucking through the water in the apc's. in fact, i remember when the game first came out, i went hauling nuts on the titan version of verdun. not knowing where i was going i ended up in the drink. when it quickly lost all it's health & blew up, i was wondering wth is going on? this is an apc, it should be able to go in the freaking water!

APCs were also amphibious in BF:V. not sure about 1942.

I believe the only amphibious APCs so far in BF were in BF2 (DC might have had them, but I'm only talking vanilla BF here). I agree it's kind of stupid that the APCs in BF2142 aren't amphibious whereas the ones 140 years before them were, but then I just remember they have the F2 mortar and no longer feel that way.

BTW, did I mention I hate that ****ing mortar?

i just realized this, the previous BF games to my knowledge allowed APCs to drive through water, but not 2142. is it for the sake of balance?
