If they had not been amphibious from the start, then it wouldn't be surprising, but to let them be amphibious in BF2 and then have them be LESS capable in 2142 (in the far future) just seems odd to me.

So much for technology and progress...

Who needs an APC to float when you can just use a pod to launch over a river! It's fine to just leave it there at the side of the water, it's not like anyone will find it.

I think you will find the squarish APCS cant go in deep water but shallow water like the middlish of the map Sidi where as the APC that has a oval front and curved front can go in deep water

I believe you mean hypOthermia. Hyperthermia is heatstroke.

Hmm...I know where the bodies of water is. I just don't know when or WHERE the road ends. When I found out; i m already in water. I m just a bad driver; my field of speciality lies in the air flying.

HMm...Other maps; Oh Verdun; I hate the little stream/ravine that is muddy and I always get my APC stuck in. If it was all terrain; I could just drive in the water and get out when I feel like lol.

Both of you need to know the crossing points through the waters for those maps lol. Wake has a small path across the bay and Verdun has various paths you can see on the minimap. :p

Or anywhere on the map. BF2 vehicle maps + Good/Decent J10 pilot = Nonstop carnage of every player on the opposing team.

I never realized they weren't amphibious... Funny as that is, guess that's what I get for barely playing Titan.

If you hate BF2142 why are you spending so much time on a BF2142 forum?
