Yep, you were one of the three, so round up the other 61, or we could do a 48 man and just need the paltry number of 45 more players.

yeah minsk i think, (not sure since i haven't played it much) is all about gunship taxing to the back flags since it's very hard to get the frontline flag.

Yep, that's Minsk. At least the larger Minsk maps (Haven't played Minsk 16 so I'm not sure what that's like). Either use the gunship to cap a back base or, much like Berlin, the PAC have one chance at the beginning of the round to scramble an assault or break past the front lines before the EU can bring their vehicles to the front. In the case of Berlin it's that irritating Groundhog, whereas with Minsk it's Groundhogs, Tigers, AND Riesigs, with even fewer routes to sneak through than Berlin. Truly a chokepoint from hell. It actually makes Gib's Camp/Ruins stalemate seem like a sunny vacation.

Dammit, I was hoping you'd found someone else! :p Oh well, it's probably a good thing there's no populated 24/7 large vehicle map conquest servers, otherwise I'd never get any work done around the house.

          one word for you.....bottleneck.

the larger version are much better. i could never get into shuhia, but suez is actually pretty damn fun on 64 conquest. all those meaningless buildings on the titan maps are now tactical positions/flag points.

You know, it's strange - when I play Minsk PAC and the initial gunship bust-out fails... I whip out a recon kit and a cloaker, and somehow pass through like the enemy wasn't even there. \o_o/

Perhaps it's because my UAV blip gets lost in the confusion, I dunno. But then it seems most people go into idiot mode on Minsk - you could be owning the entire north hill and not a single PAC douchebag will spawn there to keep control of them.

I would personally love to see servers running verdun conquest more, it rocked on the beta but tis abandoned now

              top maps imo:

              1) camp g (sorry but its good)
              2) shuiatibiaha titan< yes still get it wrong
              3) sidi conquest/titan (again rocked on demo)
              4) verdun conquest
              5) port bavaria (maybe not entirely 100% on this one, other wise tampa)

Re: Why is Camp Gibraltar so popular?

                I have to agree mostly.

                1) Yes Gibraltar is good.
                2) I love Shuhia Taiba in titan but even more in Conquest.
                3) Sidi Titan is good. If they would have just given each side a gunship in conquest instead of the one that spawns in the center of the map I think it would be more popular than Suez Conquest.
                3) Verdun Conquest is an excellent map.
                5) Port Bavaria and Leipzig are excellent maps. Bridge at Remagen is only good in the 16 player and 64 player set up. The 32 player set up is just brutal if EU gets stalled out on the bridge. Remagen Titan is the best titan map in the game in my opinion. Unfortunately people still won't spend the $10 for NS so you can't run it with vanilla titan maps or you lose 1/3-1/2 of the server whenever it comes up.

32 player can be a real chokepoint @ the bridge, you're right. but in titan mode that maps rocks!

Actually, if you are really trying to improve your kdr, moving Titan rounds are the way to go. Sit in the Titan gun blazing away and you will have a perfect kdr every round. If Titans don't move, you rarely have anything to shoot at, but if they do move, you can get 15-20 kills without any worries of actually getting killed yourself.

Plus you don't have to move so while your right hand is on your mouse, your left hand is free to hold a beverage, spoon from your ice cream bowl, cookies, etc...

The problem with Port is that it is one of the most one-sided maps in the game. PAC has all the advantages. There are only 3 possible routes to pod up to the silos / flags. It is generally a slaughter at the outset, followed by a walker-fest, pinning EU in the one or two ports they control. Can't tell you the number of times the walkers have just crouched outside the ports, healing themselves via ammo crates, blasting everything in site. And the Goliath is usually useless as it rarely lasts more than a minute when it leaves its spawn point. With walkers, hachimotos, and plenty of time to set up defensive positions (particularly on the port roofs), this map almost always results in a PAC win. And usually with well over 100 tickets to spare. I can't remember the last time I played PAC and actually lost Bavaria.

Hmm.. I have never played a round where my team had a hard time breaking out as EU. I guess I have just been lucky.
