Erm yeah - you mean like wot I said in my previous post. Try to keep up

I'm just shocked that people would be banned for it. It's a lame tactic. You may as well put on a high visibility jacket with shoot me sprayed on the back. Everyone within 200 yards can see you and kill you easily.

I don't even know why it's considered padding. It's the same as banning a recon who keeps blowing up assets on the grounds that he's getting points and therefore padding. It doesn't make sense.

it's considered padding because it doesn't "DO" anything apart from get u points and some people go to lengths like roofcamping eu base and droping them down from safety, is padding no question about it

does emp'g assets at least temporarily freeze the assets? or does it literally do nothing?

Good question. I assumed that it would knock them out temporarily - otherwise why would you get points for doing it! If it truly does nothing other than farm points then I could see why people would view it as stats padding. Still not a reason to ban someone imo.

Personally, I'd kick the EMPer simply for being a deadweight to his team. He's no better off than an AFKer in this situation. :P

it literally does nothing you even still get points from it if a recon has destroyed them. i think it's to do with how the engine deals with damage, they were lazy and made everything that belongs to one team sort of made of the same stuff if you understand me, either eu "stuff" or pac "stuff" (or neutral "stuff") and since you can damage commander assets they must be made of this "stuff" u also get points for hitting this "stuff" with emps so there for you get points from hitting commander assets. it's a very short way to do it but i imagine it saves alot of time and would actually be quite hard to remove the issue so this is probably why the devs haven't removed it

orrr i could be talking absolute crap but meh it's my theory and it seems logical. either way in response to your actual question it does sweet F*ck all except get you points. i believe you can do it to titan consoles/ core/ dead bodies/ alive dudes and vehicles. basically if you get a hit indicator you have or can earn points from it.

christ i ramble on , just stfu chris goddamnit !!

                  no it does nothing
