We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Why do you need to play on their servers anyhow? Surely there are other servers. If you truly don't hack and they have banned you it sounds like clanners whining because they keep getting killed by you.
Forget them - play somewhere else.
It's just that it's unmetered for me, as internod is my service provider + i don't have a very big limit. Also, there isn't very many good pub servers in australia.
It's much easier to prove somebody is cheating in most cases than to prove that they aren't. However battlerecorder footage (although it's probably too late now) of yourself on internode servers would be a start. That and you could mention you have one clean GUID listed at pbbans alias search (although that's not solid proof by any means!). Stats sometimes give an indication, other times not. Fraps footage is only ever useful if it accompanies the battlerecorder footage, and is only really useful if it's pre-ban footage, not post-ban.
Sometimes admins are just ban happy after being owned by someone on a good round. Just be as polite as possible throughout and try not to get frustrated during your appeal. Explain you have time and experience in the game and it makes sense to have some skill in light of that. Even offer that they may monitor you freely if given a chance to play again, and if you are successful in being given a chance, try squadding up with the admins. Ask what they thought merited the ban (specific things, did you know where they were (IDS/UAV?) or was it the speed at which you killed them (skill/experience)?). You may have some luck in convincing them, you may not - that's the way the ball rolls, but best of luck to you :)
Ban appeal fully downturned with no chance of success. Apparently THREE admins are against me, plus numerous players. I really don't know why, i don't even get outlandish scores or freak kills. They also say that they can't give out information, it's not very clear why in the email.
I'm thinking of re-buying the game, as i love love love internode servers. Would this work? In the email he states, that my CD key is banned.

sigh. I doubt they think you are hacking unless you truly are. I doubt you are hacking though because you are not that good. Do you know that you are banned for hacking? Whatever you are banned for ask for the proof, these guys don't ban unless you have done something wrong.

Yes, it would work to get back on their servers. However, you will need to go with a different soldier name completely and hope that the admins don't figure out that you are back or they will likely just ban you again. Whatever their reason is, it sounds like they aren't going to budge.
I think this 'non-disclosure' stuff is bollocks. If your gonna ban a guy from playing at least have the nads to show some evidence. Or maybe there is no evidence.

At root, I think you're right. I don't doubt the existence of an NDA, but with that it does seem like any admin can just ban at whim without having to explain themselves, which is plain wrong imo.

What kind of law in place is there that stops people finding out why they were banned on a (now we've clarified) public 2142 server? Sounds like a pile of arse to me.
