How do i find out why i have been banned?

I was banned from one of my popular servers recently, and i want to at least know why i got banned. The ingame message only has 'excess teamkilling' ect. I would go to the forums, but i have to register and it will not let me register.
Is there another way to find the reason for being banned from a bf2142 public server?

If it is run by a clan it isn't a "public server," it is their server that they pay for and let the general public come play on it. I only say that because it will help your case if you treat it as their server, not a public server.

If you can not register on their site, look and see if they have a "Contact Us" page on their site. You can also look for a membership page and see if their profiles have other ways of contacting them, through e-mail, xfire, etc... I would think that if their registration page is not working they would appreciate you letting them know so they could fix it.

You probably killed one of their admins a few too many times and he started to cry a little bit. Or maybe an admin tried to shoot you but you jumped out of the way and then blasted him to death. Or did you go into a base with some RDX and blow up an asset only to be surprised by an enemy and rather than be killed, you killed him first - that's the infamous sin of base rape there.

They often don't like that.

Or maybe you're a glitcher/hacker and they found out :thumbsup:

Usually if you breathe, a clanner admin will ban you on sight.

First thing to do is be mature and respectful. If the admin is mature as well, you might be able to get unbanned. If the it's one of those admins like WCK or Skunk2142 then I don't think you have much of a chance.

@dd64, what's the server where you're having the problem? this is an international forum & maybe someone else reading this threads also has another means of notifying an admin & getting an un-ban process started:thumbsup:

I'm sure the server i have been banned from isn't owned by a clan. I am banned from all 'Internode' servers, and they are an Australian internet provider. I definetely don't hack or glitch, i'm thinking possibly abusive language? There are no language filters on this server, would anyone like to take a guess at how long a ban related to bad language would last for?
I've sent a few emails, to the 'support' address provided, however i have not recieved any contact with them apart from automated response.

@moose- Sorry about not clearing this up before, but i don't think this is server is owned by a clan. I really don't know about admins, or who they are. Also, another thing is that there is virtually constant verbal abuse through global chat on this server, so i wouldn't think i got banned for that.

edit2: I got a reply, and it says i have a perm ban for hacking/cheating. Which is bs, i have never even come close to either. I haven't even glitched. Does anyone have any ideas of what to do next? All i know is that there is a lot of people who think i hack.

nubber banned me i think, i seriously don't even get that good k/d's. i do get tons of lucky shots with the ganz, and very good rego because internode is my provider and i have a reasonable connection. Who is shan? and how can i prove i don't hack?

Why do you need to play on their servers anyhow? Surely there are other servers. If you truly don't hack and they have banned you it sounds like clanners whining because they keep getting killed by you.

Forget them - play somewhere else.
