      There is nothing more fun than you and three of your friends getting overran zerg style by Zombies and getting you brains eaten.

        Bit of a hard slog, but we got to 25 tonight.

        Came down to all of us using our Rayguns until we basically got overrun

        Thought this was quite a cool screenshot;

            Play the solo zombie mode by yourself, open up the Help Room as soon as you have enough money, and start trying the magic box. In the early rounds, the zombies move slowly enough that you should be able to cover all of that space by yourself without being over-run, and you'll have lots of money from all the kills and repairs. You should get the raygun in a couple of games.

                The browning is SAWEEET against the evil Nazi Undead. I was the last one left in my team and I was overran like crazy, but I went down fighting with the browning.

                      Awsome, I didn't know that. I thought it was like on the coop missions where if someone dies you loose immediately.

                      I've been thinking, and I think that taking the stairs to the help room might be the better tactic (I haven't tried it yet tho). The only disadvantage I see is that you can't hold the big room during the easier waves (up until about lvl 13 the big room is easy to hold). It would give you only 4 entrances to guard, though, which would enable a person to cover each passage at all times.

                      I got to lvl 15 and 16 with some random guys who didn't have mics, and we could have lasted longer if one person didn't die and the rest of us tried to revive and all died too.

                      By the way, i'm sure most of you know this, but I found a trick. When you defeat a wave and you want to try for a raygun or flamethrower, have one guy rebuild the barricade where the last zombie is, but don't shoot the zombie. You can rebuild the windows/wall faster than they can destroy it, allowing you to "pause" the round so to speak and rebuild barricades and get better weapons.

                        Or, if the zombie is already in, just have one player run around near him, so that the zombie will chase him, letting the rest of the guys buy weaps and do repair work.

                        That is indeed a good trick, and I think a lot of people may not have thought of it.

                          We got to 25 by holding the main room and then the help room. We opened the help room as early as we could and 1 person was enough to secure that until later levels. This allowed us all to get the rayguns (took a while). Once we got to level 17+ we held the Help room only. 2 on the door, 1 on the windows and 1 on the wall / floater to cover where needed.

                          The door people had MG42s + rayguns, the guys on the windows and wall had Thompsons + rayguns. Once you get to 23 / 24 the conventional weapons are pretty much useless, it takes too long to kill them (an entire clip is needed to kill a single zombie with the Thompson). Once you do get to 23 / 24 then it's all about the raygun. Even then it takes two / three hits to kill them. We could have gone further, but it was 1am and we got a little lax in our defence.

                            I finally got a raygun in the last game and I found aiming for the upper torso works best. Also, aiming your shots . I know that sounds crazy, but I found my teammates were blasting away and it was taking 2+ hits to kill them. Well, I took my time and was shootnig upper torso and was killing them with 1 shot. Im sure level 23/4 it doesnt apply, but people tend to freak when that many are coming and start going crazy with blasts.

                            Like the POTD said, dont lose your head!

                              I've had terrible luck lately at the chest. I always seem to be getting the weakest weapons coming up. All night we played and the raygun came up, maybe, twice. Most of the time the best weapon to come up was the flamethrower or FG42.

                                That was the first time I had the raygun. I kept that baby close to my chest.

                                Flamethrower gives false hope. Stay away from it. It will overheat when you need it the most. The browning and the mg42 (or is it fg42) are the beasts you want

                                The .357, though its a pistol, puts the hurts on the zombies.
