So yeah...it wasn't very hard, was on level 6 doing fine, by myself, then I thought it would be funny to knife their head...apparently you're instantly dead when you get that close to a zombie lol. doh!

Im still completing the single player so havent had a chance to try it yet but im looking forward to it immensely

How did you guys complete the SP so fast? I know its not hard but its still a good effort after only having the game for a few days.

Level 6 is easy. Get to level 11, you'll see.

Me, Dark, Steele and Andrew (All BFE players, and my clan members) just got to level 17.

STRATEGY
Hold the main bottom floor without opening the "Help" door till about Level 8. Than, at level 8, have 1 player open the Help Door and Cover the Hole in the Wall and the 2 Windows in there alone as the other 3 sit in the main room covering.

When it gets to Level 12 or 13, All of your players move into the Help Room. Have 1 guy on each window, have 1 guy cover the hole in the wall and have 1 guy cover the entrance. *NOTE that the entrance is very hard to cover and you need an MG42 or a Browning, or some very large machine gun to hold it down, so the ? ? ? chest..yes.. keep spending money till you get good weapons.

Everyone should use the chest to have good weapons, when the guy covering the door is reloading, a guy either by the closest window or covering the wall should support him by taking point till he is reloaded. Then, back to original positions.

If you get the Ray Gun in the chest, SAVE IT till when you really need it! 1 shot kill every time, it is a sick weapon and also replaces your pistol when you fall. It saved us from dieing at level 13, because I was down, I owned all the zombies with it and someone survived me. While the other 2 teammates were down, I mowed down every zombie for the remainder of the round with the ray gun. New round meant that the 2 guys who died came back to life.

Hold the "Help" room till the end of Round 16 or Round 17 (I would recommend Round 16). Then, open the upstairs from that room and move up. Have someone on the grenades on the wall and they should keep throwing them down the stairs while 1 covers the upstair window, and the other 2 are there for support for any zombies who get by up the stairs.

This should be able to cover you till at least around level 21, if your smart, possibly even higher (24-25 maybe). I am guessing this is where everyone makes their last stand as Treyarch did and as probably the PS3 players did. This point, you can get the BAR upstairs and a few other weapons, but they will overrun you eventually where the nades just dont blow fast enough and you can't reload quick enough. You will die.

You dont have to complete sp if you go into co-op mode.

Im still completing the single player so havent had a chance to try it yet but im looking forward to it immensely

Yeah, I know 6 rounds is easy, I wasn't even trying yet. Like I said, I made a goober move, but it was funny. I died when there was only one zombie in the room. I was like, "Can I knife these suckas?" I knife him in the upper chest and then he simply attacked me in 2 secs LOL!

The sp is engrossing enough you can finish it in no time. It's good at moving you along through it. Granted...that tank mission made me want to stop for a while, but there were no more missions like that thank goodness. I beat the sp in 5 hours: 3.5 hours the first night and then 1.5 hours last night. As usual, it was a shorter sp, but intense which is perfect imo!

Back on topic, Nazi zombies, I'm getting on late tonight, maybe some of you will be on for blowing some zombies up. I say late b/c I will be of course seeing the new Bond film after work.

So I finally unlocked the zombie mod and I played it by myself to get a feel for it. So I am shooting the heads off these things and thinking, this isnt so bad and its a lot of fun. So I get up to level 4 and having a great time. I hear them knocking on my windows I went around and killed them and was rebuilding my window. I turn around to get THUMPED in the head by a zombie and lose! You cant hear those sneaky bastages once they get in. I guess they were at the far end of the building and when I was busy at the other end taking them out they slipt through.

Im going to have to re-read my zombie tactics. I can tell you that one of those rules is not to seal yourself into a building. We already broke rule #1.

I hopped on last night after finishing SP, thinking I'd get "a couple quick games in". 3 hours later... lol

Soooo much fun. I managed to get to level 10 by myself...those suckers start coming pretty damn fast around lvl 8 for one person to handle. I was using the flamethrower and Thompson for the last couple levels. Thompson does burst-fire for headshots really well. Nuke and insta-kill power-ups saved my bacon a couple of times too.

I always find that I make some dumb mistake though, like lingering at a single window for too long and don't notice a zombie sneaking up on me, or I try to jump over an obstacle/low wall that can't be jumped over.

In a previous game, I got lucky and got the ray-gun from the box really early. THAT thing is really fun to use. I like the sawed-off shottie too...the shotties can take out more than one zombie at a time if you let them line up and shoot for the neck/head.

I think that some keys to surviving longer would be:
- have multiple people with ray-guns and/or flamethrowers
- try to kill a group of zombies in a short period of time so they drop a bonus powerup/pickup...the nuke or insta-kill should be used at a strategic time (but they only stay on-screen for a little while if you don't use them, so don't let them go to waste - use 'em)
- try to get a feeling for when you're almost being over-run, then move upstairs...if you wait too long, they'll overwhelm you.

TIP: you can rebuild the barricades even when facing away from them, so turn your back to the window while you build so that you can protect yourself. You can also reload and build at the same time.

I'm looking forward to trying it with more people. Damn addicting. :) I think I may have to buy Left4Dead now, too. :laugh:

Me and some friends made it to level 9. We are still learning the tricks. We opened the side door that had the tunnel in it and I was keeping it secure by myself. Next thing I know all my guys are dead and theyre pooring in the door! "What, 3 of you guys couldnt keep it under control?" "They came in behind us."

Very fun and addicting

My clanmates Dark and Castle played with 2 other guys today. They said they got to level 19, and have a solid strategy.
