No im not impressed. To start it looked really nice on paper and such, but then after playing for an afternoon i started to really get the feel of it (360 Beta this is).

To me it looks and feels like they tried to force feed BF2 and COD3 down COD4's throat. Much of the feel of it so far seems like COD4, Controls and such that just come with the engine. But then some things you just feel like "Oh IW didnt make that" Things like skins damages ect. At least some stuff in cod4 was reasonable. The stock/"Core" or as my friends are calling it because they called it core, Soft-Core (for all the wimps and bitches not man enough to play hardcore, or so they explain it as)...

I stopped reading there and ignored all points you made. Grow up or shut up.

Patton, thanks for mentioning the gore, i keep forgeting about that. After just getting back from a play session ive noticed some damage problems possibly. If you have a Semi auto weapon, your basically going to dominate (I just finished a few rounds with roughlty 11-2 with my G43 Aperture Sighted up, while a heavy arse B.A.R takes multiple shots. The snipers are even under powered for god sakes. More shots to kill a dog than a human, now thats just wrong.

And i wish i would have known about that collectors edition, i can really use the double experience. Seems like they did some double experience thing in COD4, but i cant recal when. Might have been the new map pack.

And Spik3d, thanks for being an @ss btw. I said thats what one of my friends said if you could skim correctly. I prefer hardcore, but playing either or is better in my eyes, hes a stickler and only plays hardcore. So i could say the same for you just popin in threads and insulting them.

I'm a "Soft-Core" player myself, but respect both sides. Really, the way the weapons are so off, I should be playing Hardcore in the beta. As you just said Silent, a BAR you unload and don't kill but with a semi-auto rifle, you own with like 2 shots. w...t...f :shakehead:

I played the beta and it feels like it is just a remake of COD4 but in WWII.

i hate to say well DAH!

people said the same with Battlefield 2142, that it was just a remake of Battlefield 2, but i ended up thinking it had so many differences that they couldnt be compared.

overall i am not really fond of WW2 games but seeming as COD4 was great i reckon this will be two.

Basing my opinion solely off the youtube vids that have been posted it looks sh*t.. Like you said it looks exactly the same as CoD4 with different skins. The maps still look tiny and I'm yet to see these vehicles everyone was talking about.. I will most likely buy it though because I have loved every CoD before but it looks like more of the same in the multiplayer department

I am not impressed to be honest and I'm not buying it.

At least not right away, after a few patches and/or an eventual promod it might look a lot better but I'm not buying it if the PC version is the same as the 360 one...

Well i have looked at some gameplay trailers and its striking me with the same opinion. Its just a CoD4 mod with worse GFX.

Yeah, people have a real problem with it acting and looking like CoD4. Its amazing how many comment about that when other FPSes never get the same commenets, such as Crysis, Far Cry, Unreal Tournament, the Counter Strikes, and others I am sure going through your mind.

On the call of duty forums someone was just ripping the game apart about that and mentioned how they need to make it like CoD:UO. My reply was a bit harsher from above as well as "Then go play CoD:UO" If they make a CoD6, it will probably look like 4 and 5. The older CoD style is gone and probably wont be coming back.

As for being just like CoD4, beyond some looks and the perk system, it is no more CoD4 than CoD1 was like CoD2. Or BF1942 was like BF2.

As for the map size, its been mentioned that they are making multiple sizes for PC.

I don't have a problem with it being like CoD4, infact I love CoD4 gameplay at its best form, eg competitive pubs (there are a few) and PAM4/promod

I bought CoD4 after my friends did and they were having a lot of fun, I didn't want to miss out. I got so horribly sick of it after 50 hours or so because of all the spam, small maps and perks that didn't exactly encourage teamplay and tactics.

I then found a few nice servers that I tend to only play on (Kaffeebar 24/7 S&D crash is a lot of fun, tho spammy) and random PAM4 pubs.

I probably wouldn't have bought CoD4 if I knew more about how lame the perks are and if there weren't any competitive mods.

CoD5 is a step in the wrong direction imo, even though I'm sure a lot of people will enjoy it. I won't :)

Like I told you before, go to this thread in the Media section ( http://www.totalgamingnetwork.com/ma...d.php?t=177886 ) ...there are at least 3 vids that have "tank" right in their titles.
