We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
I just got an email from cod.com, thinking it was the PC beta code. Instead the email was an xbox360 beta code telling me that I have until October 19 to redeem it before it expires... but it's October 24...
With only 3 weeks before release of the game I highly doubt we will be getting a beta. And what would be the point anyway. Might as well call it a demo now.

Im pretty sure now that the PC beta we will play will be the finished product, however the purpose of this beta is to provide feedback for the first patch which will be out a few days after release.

Agreed.

They might also be testing the server bandwidth to their master server since that's their new concept. They will have to have the resources to accommodate at least 2 million players on release date, so the beta might point them in the right direction.
Also keep in mind not all hardware for the PC might not be compatible with the game. I think they done it all wrong the PC beta should be out first then the XBox there's not much work to be done to make a game work on a console which hardware parameters are exactly the same for each user, as opposed to the PC gamers which have billions of combination's of hardware.
I would love to see a game that will connect all players together no matter what platform they are playing on XBOX players playing with hardcore PC gamers and casual PS3 players, wouldn't that be awesome?
I reserved my copy of the beta still waiting for it to be available, still no email about my beta key, hope it comes before I have the game downloaded.

Not until there is a universally accurate control system between all the platforms (ie. Xbox360/PS3 come with either a standard keyboard/mouse-type of controller, or adapter ports that allow PC kybd/mouses to be plugged in AND (this is important) to function with the same precision & accuracy they do on PC). Until they do that, there won't be fair gameplay across the platforms (they'll either have to reduce the accuracy of PC's controls, or increase the aim-assist of Consoles...basically, no one will be happy with it). I know a lot of PC'ers have written that they'd like it to happen now, so that they can "pwn Console noobs"...well, that's not very sporting, given that the systems are not fair/balanced right now.
Also, due to Consoles having fewer features available than PC, the PC version will have to be dumbed down and "console-ized" even more than they already are (and enough PC users are already complaining about that).
Maybe for the next generation of Consoles (Xbox"3", PS4), but right now I think it would just tick off more people than it would make happy.
Surely giving a console a mouse and keyboard etc basically makes it a PC.
As far as controls go...apparently, people who have tried some of those adapters designed to let you use a PC keyboard/mouse on a Console say that it's better than a controller, but that it still does not perform like on a PC. There is still Console controller "logic" that prevents movements (especially of the mouse) from being as fast and precise as on a PC.
Based on those comments, it sounds like some software tweaking needs to be done in the Console code as well if they are to function the same.
It is sad, because COD4 and now CODWaW are being designed to fit the needs of consoles first, which means the PC Gamers which seem second most next to XBOX360, get shafted in some areas. In COD4, it was the map sizes.
My understanding is that Microsoft do not want the Xbox to be seen as a "mini-pc" so will not allow keyboard and mouse to be used on it. I have no idea about PS3.
