Hey guys,
I was searching through some threads and couldn't find anything, so... My friend and I are here at school trying to figure out when (or if) the CoD5 beta will come out for PC. He thought it was today/tomorrow, so I was hoping one of you guys had some information (and if so, where we can go to get a key/copy of it).

Someone posted this on the callofduty.com forums; I don't know if it's legit or not, but it's worth a try.

Hi guys.

A dutch Gaming site Gamez.nl Claims that the PC beta will go live on 17th
It also Claims the beta will be open for public but you need a key :/
If heard more of this kinda news that it will be the 17th or so but didnt hear anything about needing a key.
Does any one know more? if have registerd my email but i think its prity stupid that the pc beta will be using a beta key like the xbox.

Alright cool, I think I was looking through that thread but wasn't sure if you guys determined it to be official or what not. Regardless, I'm looking forward to the beta.

Yeah, it is coming (there are people testing it behind the scenes), but so far we haven't been given a specific date. As 'Cable said above, JD posted on the weekend that we would be getting details/info on it sometime this week (3 days left lol).

Ive heard all kinds of dates an i think it would be safe to assume one of thems correct. I heard last tuesday and wednes, ive heard tomorrow friday, and ive heard monday.

Using that logic we'd never have any dates for anything. Anyways, thanks for the info guys, I'm hoping to hear some news soon! If it happens to be tomorrow (which I doubt) I'll be ecstatic, seeing as I have no school :yay:

Rumour alert, so take this FWIW...but someone posted on the COD forums that an admin from that Dutch website just reported that they had the PC codes and would open up their download site at midnight Friday (which is apparently just over an hour from now).

Again, could be nothing, or it could be just around the corner.

IDK, those foreign sites like to spill the beans early. The battlefield.uk site was were I learned the release date of Northern Strike. It was removed a few hours later, but that was too little too late.

Well it's past 1:30am there now, so they may have meant 11:59pm Friday. Hopefully we can get more info tomorrow afternoon.

I just love it when both the developer and publisher are hard at work to do everything well in order to get. This is really good news.
