Re: My Trees got thicker
heh its ok im use to the "zomg wtf tri sli" reactions. I havnt bought a comp for 5 years so im not bothered and uts nice to spend money on ones self when youve earnt it through hard graft. All I was sayiing dude was no matter what titan mode lags no matter what. Rest of the game is fine so is bf2 that runs fine all on high. Titan mode has been laggy since the game came out.Comment

Re: My Trees got thicker
Just for an experiment , try using the Xfire video capture feature . We recently used Xfire to document our server , to send to our provider as proof of a terrible lag issue . Xfire vid capture did a super job of real time playback .
I had a simular experience as yourself when I tried to go back into battle recorder and use fraps to document the lag . The lag wasnt present on playback , but using Xfire ingame at the time of the lag , I got far superior results over fraps .Comment

Must be a conflict in your setup, maybe your "cores" are concentrating on a different area of your PC?
My old rig, was absolute horror in Titan mode, almost unplayable, even though it was a 3.2ghz Intel, it still couldnt handle Titan, and i like yourself was terribly dissapointed, and felt misled.
My new computer which you can see in my "my system" specs handles Titan like a smooth buttery dream, yet i dont have 2 cards, let alone 3, or a quad processor, in all honesty i feel my computer is bland in comparison to some of your guy's setups you have, but 2142 is more than manageable than ever, regardless of 32 or 64 players, Titan or conquest, moving or locked Titans.:thumbsup:Comment

Re: My Trees got thicker
Titan is all CPU load, if you have a mid-range graphics card and a good CPU, you can run titan with little FPS drop on your side. Now for servers, I can't say, but I'm happy with ust my improvement. :)Comment

yeah my computer pwns now. For more than a year i was the one with a crap computer. Pretty fair chunk of change but im not sure what i would have gotten in place of this other than supplements at GNC or something lol. but seriously it allows you to better enjoy the game.
you got the E8400 i see VERRRY nice performance difference isnt it?Comment

Re: My Trees got thicker
64 player will never be smooth for anyone to 100%. Not that you need a supercomputer but titan was designed for 48 player tops for a reason: Engine limitations.
Besides, 64 players isn't even fun. 32 can get a bit overkill as well if there aren't so many people on the ground.Comment
