Hackers can get that same code and submit false bans, just like they did before.

(Member of PBBans Staff) EB WILL NOT fix this issue however there are monitor ways to reduce this type of action but not to STOP it. We are in the works of finding ways to keep up the streaming so please just give us your support in the mean time! Thanks for all the positive feed back!

Now that I actually understand what the problem is, I see why PBBans et al. are so concerned about this. That's a very nasty hole to fix, and nothing short of completely restricting access to game server except to trusted personnel (authorized by EB) would stop that.

Also, it seems that it was the cause of a Corrupt SGA, that hacked his server to stream false bans.

Because Adamshannon8 knows ALLLLLL about hacking.

maybe because he was BANNED FOR HACKING (CLICKY CLICKY)

but hackers are fun to play with anyway as long as they dont have a really good infantry aimbot. and i really dont think pbbans did all that much. everytime someone was banned they would just change their guid and get another ban. or do something stupid like change their guid but not change their ip and get associated with their new ban. its all pretty stupid i guess. All pbbans ever did was require hackers to change their ip in addition to their guid whenever they were caught, which was not very often. It is not the end of the world, it is not the end of pb gaming. We should probably be more concerned with the particle accelerator in sweden or wherever it is, because they although the chance of destroying earth is very-low^very-high it is still non-zero which means we might die.

Unforutnattly the streaming problem affects all pb enabled games that users have remote desktop to or shell access. So if someone is running all COD4, BF2/BF2142 UnRanked then they have remote desktop access or full shell access to their server and can send the false data to any streaming site PBBans, PSB, etc. I am sure there are thousands of false bans in the AC systems as I am sure this is not the first time this has been used by those will full access to their servers in small moderation but appeals should help get the false bans out of the system since the information the AC sites have and what they find at EB won't match.

The streaming sites exist because EvenBalance does not maintain such a global list (publicly, of course).

I suppose it would be possible for the streaming sites to limit their services to ranked, controlled servers (such as the battlefield series) only, but that would eliminate a great number of supporters.

Its not something that will stop people from playing MP games nor will it stop EB or PBbans from doing what they do. It will and Im sure already has created a few headaches and speedbumps along the way but Im confident that it will get sorted out soon enough.
