so i reinstalled my OS since i think i got a virus and since im kind of a freak about wanting my comp to run awsome even though its not really needed but then i install the game and go to put in my account name and password and it says that none exist. then i go to support to retreive my details via giving an email address and this is what i got in my mail

tell you the truth im starting to not really care as much...a while ago i would have been freaking out but now its kind of like...."eh oh well i can just make another solider and play for breifer time periods"

because really... being high on the leaderboard only means so much. True. i am really high up there for combat but then there are a bunch of noobs up there too some of them having more than 3000 hours of play time.

i almost think it would be a good healthy thing just to erase Field_Boy and go with my new solider F1ELD_B0y because then i wouldnt play as much..

Honestly there arent alot of other pc games or any kind of video games that i would care to devote this much time into. Life is rich with things to do and be interested in

i thought about this for a minute or so and i decided to delete Field_Boy. I dont really have motivation anymore for the leaderboard. There isnt much point because im competing with people like TitanGunther that suck at the game and put in many many hours to get more kills than me

You said that about six months ago when you decided to quit, but then you came back a few months later and played quite frequently again. I'd think twice about deleting your profile, honestly, but that's just me.

i already did it. i got to 12th in combat and 4th with the krylov i dont see the point in trying to rank higher its like oh your #1 you get a cookie. seriously. and YOU said that people care too much about thier stats. what do my stats get me..nothing. i dont get money, im not famous, you get nothing from playing alot other than getting a bit better with some senses and working certain parts of your brain and then a bunch of random people going "oh thats soANDso hes X# on the leaderboard"

the biggest reason to keep playing really is just to get better, its more of being hooked on getting good kills and big kill streaks and then talking trash to other players and being the better player.

you dont get anything for being high up it doesnt matter. You play too much and you start to play crappy and then people catch you when you are being stupid and then you look like crap to them. i still play the game because i like the game.

I deleted my soldier once, a week later I tried to use him again and he was still there, I met one of my main goals of getting 100,000 points, now the only thing I have left to do is get all awards. This war college ribbon is driving me crazy, but other than that, I'm nearly done. I dont play the game as much as I used to, and its a good thing for me, because now I have work to do, but its still got great memories for me to look back to.

I'm just saying don't be rash and do something you might regret later after this epiphany of yours wears off. You've always said that stats and being able to follow your progress was a big part of the game to you, and even though it hasn't gotten you laid like a rock star it's really no reason to delete your profile, either (which, by the way, isn't instantly deleted from the stats server, as Yoster mentioned). Besides, you used to chastise people who had multiple profiles because to you it made more sense to just play one profile, etc. Why this sudden change?

And when the hell did you start listening to what I say anyway?! :laugh:

Who says playing more and getting all the good ribbons doesn't get you anything... It gets you less sex!

I laid 2142 down to go rabidly play COD4 for about 3-4 months. Then I got bored with the lack of teamplay and general feeling of Quakism, and came back to a great game.

Deleting seems a rash thing to me, but starting a new soldier is always refreshing. It's good to have to run around looking for a kit to steal, cuz you only have a few unlocks.
