If u are still ban and u are not in their banlist they will need to restart there server.This happen to my clan member in our own server.

No idea. I was banned about a second after i joined the game. When the admin bans someone on a BBUK server, they have to provide a reason:

But, there was no ban reason next to my name, so they think it was a bug of some sorts.

That macro in your mouse could have caused the ban, as the server admin if they added the pb_sv_restrictions 2 command in there file.

If so, then pb will kick/ban for any type of macro program that is running in your system ram/memory.

My advice, don't use macros, or use ones approved by pb and not for bf2. (You can file a ticket with PB to see if the "macro" you use for webpages is allowed by pb or not.

I wish i had more of a footing to give you tips, but this is a very private issue (Thanks pb!)

I've been kicked from servers because my AHK macro for Firefox was running. I made one that opens a new tab with my front thumb button, as sometimes I like to be able to browse with one hand...

I honestly dont think it would cause a ban based on any "macro" a kick would occur def if it is the offending data. To my knowledge(though it is limited) this new pb restriction isnt configurable. So it should jsut result in a kick from PB, unless the server admins have firgured out a way to edit PB to their liking and restrictions.

Honestly Alex get with Tim,George,or Brandon and see what info they can get for you about this. They are privy to way more info than we are concerning the innerworkings of PB. Thats the best bet in this circumstance, imho.

Strange, because pbbans.dat is Punksbusted banlist and I just updated it and you were not there (at least not your Captain account). They have probably mixed it with server own banlist. To remove: let them download it, remove your name manually, save and upload it again using Rackage Control Panel File Manager, it's allows that (I have one server from Rackage, too).
And for macros: PB only kickes for that not bans (PB message: restricted program or driver) so it must be something else.

Yea, i don't think it's a macro as i can play on any other server fine, without kicks.

I think it was simply a bug since there was no ban reason against my name (which clan members have to give).

Admins have made md5 checks to check for usersettings.con, sound.con and other modded files, so they would be able to mod the pb settings as well.

And, players have found ways to overcome the checks as well.

Correct, you can adjust how PB works to a certain degree on your server by certain commands that you can give. Like you said the usersetting.con is aimed at players adjusting thier defaultlatencycomensation to hatever their ping is, Network settings if you wana call it that.

Any other settings within PB that are configurable I dont wanna know about it or change. Its intended to serve a purpose and we intend to leave it alone on our servers.

I can rule out the macro-kicking part. I often use macros in After Effects and Premiere, and AFAIK when they have been running (AHK) I have never experienced a kick or a ban from PB directly (though I have been banned for hacking and seatswitching).
