Got banned by Punkbuster

I started playing on the BBUK Wake 24/7 server and a minute later i was banned. I try and rejoin and it says "You have been BANNED from this server by the Server Admin".

I am not on their banlist, i have updated PB and i can play on every other server (including other BBUK servers). So what's wrong?

Maybe some one-round-ban (because of teamkilling etc) or something like that? Try to rejoin after round ends.

Yeah, that's an in game ban, not punkbuster, a pb ban will give you a 7 digit ban code

I haven't rebooted yet actually, i'll feel like a right spoon if it works after that.

By server admin? Just try contacting the admin if it still doesn't work, did you do anything that the admins didn't like?

Happend to me on the same server... Check your Guid on the pbbans site...

(also can you go on the UKSF Karky server?)

Contacted admin and all that and i'm not on their ban list. I can still play on their other servers. I get on well with all of them, i'm a local on the server, so it's nothing personal.

I'm not on any MBL's.

I had that happen to me. I just waited a day or two before trying again.

But i suppose that's not very useful if you want to play now.

Its a bug. Happened me once, joined to tv2 and then i was kicked like 4 times a row even i rejoined everytime, the message was only "kicked by punkbuster" and the last was a ban and the same message than you had.

I just joined 22nd SAS Warlord only server and again, got banned immediately, before i even started playing.

Although, i can still play on some servers.

Alex have you thought that the new PB update might be the reason behind it. pb_sv_restrictions 2 have caused quite a few probs with a lot of people. Might jsut be your G15 if you have one. Or some server dont allow you to change your BF2 network settings ie default latency compensation 0.100, thats gotten me several kicks but never a ban.

Somethignto look into.

I don't think i have any macros. I certainly don't have a G15.

The only thing i can think of is that i have two buttons on my mouse set to "alt+right" and "alt+left" in Logitech Setpoint. I set that up for scrolling through web pages.

Do you think that might be it?

I doubt that it would cause you issue, but at this point I would try anyhting if I were you.

Right, well i found out that the 22nd SAS ban was for wearing "EA" tags...

But, i still can't figure out the BBUK one. I'm not on their banlist and i've reinstalled BF2 and PB yet i'm still banned
