Don't worry, i don't usually play like that, it was some early morning shenanigans. If i were you, i would have been annoyed as well!
      Lol I knew it.

This morning I saw far worse though so its ok. I saw a whole team spamming gaymores and then just running in circles in front of me like idiots spamming nades @ there feet in hopes they kill someone on the flag or near a dead body from my team.

It's really pathetic I think, it takes the fun out of FPS imo. Dice should also introduce a new feature called pulled muscles from throwing too many nades similiar to over heating on support guns!

Surprisingly you're team did win that round too somehow though...

Seriously they are able to be destroyed, throw a flashbang in front of them and it will set them off.
I like the first method a lot when I have a godly squade following me how often does that happen in BF2?

As for flash bangs setting off gaymores, I never knew that?! That sounds cool but I hate the F2000.

They have a 360 degree instant boom if you run by which takes out half a city block.

Seriously, they need to look at COd4 in terms of nades/gaymore spam control and if not for the next patch, make it for the next bf on pc.

      Ps.

Also Alex, that was on one of you're home servers in the UK - I live in Ont, Canada. So its impressive my ping is even low enough to play with you :O

Remove clays altogether, not to be calling BF realistic (I hope DICE never makes a realistic BF) but claymores aren't used in any war nowadays. Claymores in games remove a big skillset in FPS games imo, standing your own ground and being able to defend yourself even if you have the less powerful weapon.

I have no idea why there are clays in CoD4 either, small maps without many large open spaces + claymores = lame.

Claymores are used by both British and US troops in Afghanistan. A story a few months ago told how a British troops in their under siege base used claymores to stop themselves from being over run.

Really? My bad, I thought I read somewhere that they had stopped using them.

Claymores in reallife can also be remotely detonated, a sharpnel lower grade C4 bomb if you'd like to imagine it. Of course, in real life a claymore would need to be set properly using troop wire and well hidden vs fps games when you simple toss it down and it seems to distinguish friendly from foe most of the time lol.

We stopped using victim-detonated mines. Real claymores are primarily command detonated, meaning a soldier activates the mine as the enemy walks by.
Has the U.S. even signed the ban on landmines yet? I know we were sandbagging because of the buttload of mines on the DMZ.

Yeah, claymores now are remotely detonated, not IR as they used to be. I think that is because of the APM ban.

When I was in, the "tycho fun switch" was used exclusively to detonate them. The only time I even saw one rigged with a trip wire was in the manual.

The way the modern US Army operates it doesn't have that much use for what is essentially a booby trap. Besides in many cases you're as likely to kill a freindly as an enemy. They are primarily used for last ditch perimeter defense and ambushes. Both rigged using the manual switch.

I play as spec ops in FF off servers, so claymores are rarely a problem. Clay in the alley? C4 over it. Clay at the top of the ladder? C4 over it. Not having the ability to blast myself into the air would seriously cripple my play style. I also love killing snipers before they toss their clays so I can empty out their kits.

                            BROCK F*CKING SAMSON!!!!!!

OMG he is the best! I love the clip of him restling the gator out of the cargo bay or when mother tries to run him over with the car and he just plows into the driver seat LOL. O man I wish I got that show up here, its better than family guy imo.

Lol thats a new one. I hate FF off servers a lot because its more spaming nades and clays than shooting half the time.

EA is too lazy to do anything. While Achmed might be smart enough to kill someone for a Klondike bar, EA wouldn't kill someone for all the money in the world.

How about a sandwich that gives you some health back?

                                Oops wrong game :P

I hope they fix the physics! So the game has gravity and momentum. And better AA, planes have it way to free and easy in BF2. They dont need to worry about anything except hitting the ground or running into eachother.
