I bought Battlefield 2142 last year and I lost my internet due to real life problems. So tonight, I try to download it, Guess what?

Thanks a lot EA, I spent 50 bucks on Battlefield 2142 to download it, and now I dont get to play it. IF EA HAD PUT THIS EXTENDED DOWNLOAD SERVICE PLAN ONLINE LAST YEAR, I WOULD OF PAID 6 DOLLARS.

Wow, that sucks man. Kinda ruins the whole "download" thing. One of the main reasons I chose download vs store is so I DON'T have to keep track of a disc or files.

Are you sure that policy was not already in place when you bought the game back then?

I bought the game before the whole fee thing and it let's me download it for free. However, I have made back up copies of the games data files just in case.

Valve doesn't charge **** for downloading their games on STEAM.
