No, you are racing a car at very high speeds. It is different from driving a regular car on the road. Do some research. Racecar drivers actually have to be in very good shape, as well as their pit crews.

Yes, please stop defending gaming as a sport, its not! a sport actually needs physical shape, and no those circle isn't an athletic shape nor is the a morph thing behind a lot of people desktops, so sorry.

And no you are not working out your brain by gaming, that is done by studying even playing chess, and even that is boring.

Studying? Studying? with all of these things you are working different parts of your brain studying is more in the memorization/ applying what you learned department. Then chess is inside set rules and boundaries such as a video game, memorizing different sets of moves, thinking of what your opponent is going to do and what he thinks you think he thinks your going to do. you stimulate many of the same brain areas. but then you are probably 16 or something so whatever i was not as smart when i was 16 either.

im not saying gaming is an ATHLETIC thing because no it doesnt require many PHYSical attributes to win but you are using your brain and who runs the world, gets real things done, controls crazy flying space robots? people with the best brains..

Most pro players aren't bald middleaged guys with a beer belly that have time to play computer games because they don't have a job...

Most of them are actually around 18-28 and are somewhat physically active - I know many of the more famous swedish faces in the CS world play a lot of (real) sports.

And gaming can be good for your brain, of course it depends on what you play but you get my point. One of my math teachers loved playing minesweeper.

Games like CS and other very competitive games can teach you to think logical, outsmarting your enemies, and if you play on a really high level teamwork and coordination.

Unfortunately most pubbers are stubborn *******es that won't learn anything or think logical at all.
