Oh camo works just fine (well, not while EMPed, heh), just not in the situations most people try to use it. I use it for escaping people and running for the hills on a map like Tampa or Sidi, not for trying to run through a barricade of enemies on Cerbere.

On those maps it surely works, but anything smaller than Verdun it doesn't really.

I haven't perfected the camo skills yet, but I'm not bad at all with it. I like to dance around noobs with their vosses while I have it on and let them waste their whole clip, then take their tags while they reload.

Camo is dependent on 2 primary things... the first being the user, and the second being the target. Even the best camo user in the game would have difficulty sneaking up on a player who know's what he's looking for.

The worst is when there are 5 medics around and no enemies and you can't get a rez. fail...

well definately not while emp'd, that's a no-brainer zinz. although if i get emp'd w/ nobody is in my immediate vicinity, i will from time to time turn on the camo for the cool light show:thumbsup: when properly used, it can be quite useful. i prefer to use it in combination w/ the decoy beacon. it's great for getting behind enemy lines. you have to know when & where to use it. however, much like being emp'd, there are occasions/situations where you will actually be more visible, ESPECIALLY now w/ the 1.50 patch:shakehead:

and the trained eye of better players such as yourself are not as easily fooled, but it's not a total fail. sure i've been sniped while cloaked from pretty damn far away. so i know it's not perfect, but it does make you more elusive.

its pretty easy to tell if someone is cloaked in the vicinity just listen for buzzing.

since moose is more experienced he would probably uncloak a fair distance away and come up and shank you D:

it always makes me laugh when the less experienced players come up right behind you cloaked and buzzing lol
