I still constantly see people jump from the titan like heroes and land to become limp ragdolls. How hard is it to space?

i tried to knife someone who was parachuting down on me. i just wondered what would happen. there was some ownage in there, but it wasnt what i expected. i got crushed by the para cuz i missed.

A few months back, I was at silo 1 on Suez doing my kill the infidels thing. While I was laying out a scattering of Engineer droppings to mark my territory, this guy comes running up to me spamming "I need a medic!". I literally have a motion mine in my hand at the time. He follows me all around the silo shooting at my feet spamming about a medic while I'm saying "sorry" and "no can do". Finally he TK'd me and I wrote in team chat "WTF was that man?" He says "Why didn't you just heal me?"....

The motion mine in your hand made me lol.

I was in a gunship attacking another gunship, the pilot bails before his blows up and opens up his parachute, I thought I would get a nice roadkill so I tried to ram him. Big mistake, my gunship blew up instantly. :dead:

Are those parachutes made of titanium or something... they kinda look carbon fiberish...

A few days ago the same person ran into my APM's at the same place for 5 times in a row... it was hilarious, I wish I had recorded it :)

And this one guy that was flying a full transport on his way to the enemy titan, just as he's about to land he seems to change his mind... instead of dropping us off, he rams a gunship, giving him 5 teamkills and a proper ban from the server

one of my clanmates EricK619 did that about a year ago & it's still a topic to laugh at. he tells me & another clanmate, orngechevy over voip how he's died by this same guys apm's 7 or 8 times in a row & it's really starting to piss him off. we're both wondering why he just doesn't go somewhere else. we tell to try it again & maybe he'll get the guy. instead we get some profranity & another apm death...LOL

I've been a n00b magnet of late it seems. Tonight I had two instances of moron teammates sabotaging my APC. The first time I hop out, switch to mine bait, but before I can throw it the guy that was in the mortar seat hops into the driver's seat and drives forward, killing him and the vehicle in the process. That one I survived. The second one I didn't. I was north of Storage Area (PAC controlled) as I'd taken the Groundhog from the EU main and when I arrived at the entrance of course there were MMs. Before I hopped out I switched to the mortar seat to take out the infantry sitting in the Rorsch, but the second I hop up above some dipsh!t jumps into the driver's seat and, again, plows forward into the mines. I quickly hop out and again was spared, but a 'friendly' tank thought he'd spare me the trouble of having to try to take the flag on foot and planted a round right at my feet. I swear I worry more about teammates than I do enemies in this game. =/

APC has always been the vehicle of noobs trying to ruin things. usually they hop into the driver seat when i'm soloing with the mortar and get both of us killed. i really wish this game had a "LOCK DOOR" function to lock people out of vehicles. however i will give credit to those non-noobs that have the decency to get in the driver seat when someone is soloing with the mortar and stay put.

My favorites are the times you're perched near an enemy silo, and happily picking off troops with your Zeller/Ganz/Baur, and along comes a team gunship who starts circle strafing the area with missles, TVs, and machine gun fire. I miss a few kills, no biggy.
Then you see an enemy gunship in the distance. You spot it, your teammate doesn't budge. It gets a little closer, you spot again. Closer still, another spot. Now it's within shooting distance of your gunship, you spot 3 times in a row. The whole time your pilot is still just circling around the silo, and of course gets shot down, then says, "Commander, you need to tell me where the enemy gunships are!" :shakehead:

I come on a Titan server I haven't been on before. I set myself up, spawn, and go to town.

Minutes later, I get hackused.

Throughout the round, I kill a soldier who's just four ranks away from brigadier general, and yet look at the ways he manages to die:

-Dies once at the gun of my battlewalker. Respawns as recon and attempts to RDX me from the other side of the road in plain sight.
-Dies from my walker again as I hear "We've lost silo 3!" and take down the jeep that's been capping it.
-Gets knifed on the top deck of our Titan while he's busy typing up a tirade against me.
-Flies at just the right level for my Titan AA gun to destroy him. He didn't even react.
-Dies from my SMG after I spot him wandering aimlessly in our Titan cargo bay while cloaked.

Everytime he died thanks to me, I got accused of spawnkilling.

Oh yes, and I was called a cheater more times than I could count. :) He ended up ragequitting after the entire server told him to shut up. He also promised to send my name to EA to get me banned.

I can't top the other examples so this is not a "raise" but I have enjoyed this thread and would like to see it continue....

Example 1: Recon was the last class I played and got the unlocks for so it took me a while to get the hang of it. In particular the active camo thing completely eluded me. I was pressing the button once and getting wasted whenever I tried to infiltrate... took me way too long to figure out I had to HOLD THE LEFT BUTTON DOWN! Yep I was an easier kill than normal then!! "Here comes that kamikaze sniper again!"

Example 2: I have come a ways since then...recently playing as PAC a sniper came rolling into my base and blew one of our assets....I followed him through the buildings til he slowed down then I knifed him... but the sweet part was running back to his getaway FAV whose driver was somehow unable to kill me with the machine gun, I killed him with my lambert and took the jeep. "Now, stay out of my base!" :laugh:
