BF2 and Punkbuster WTF?

im so freaking pissed off right now, been trying to get this damn game to work for a few days
I get the punkbuster error blah blah blah it kicks me off a server after 3 min, i have updated punkbuster
pc
amd phenom quad core
4 gig ram
500 hd
8800 gt

someone plz help thx!!!

Download the following file: http://files.filefront.com/pbsetupex.../fileinfo.html

Put the .exe file in its own folder on ur primary drive, then run the manual updates to PB for BF2.

That should force update ur system.

Post back if you are still having issues..

BF2 isn't compatible with AMD processors. Simple fix...

1. Buy an Intel-compatible motherboard.
2. Buy an Intel CPU.
3. ????
4. Profit.

Only download from the punkbuster/evenbalance. You can run this from the download location.

Run the pbsv punkbuster services executable.

http://www.evenbalance.com/downloads/pbsvc/pbsvc.exe

You will also need to post the error messages you are getting so others can help you.
Make sure that the punkbuster a and b services have full access and are running when you are playing BF2.

I run 3 pcs all of them with AMD processors , trust me thats not the issue . update PB sometimes taks 2 times to acctually go . AMD is the leading processor in OC wars
