Never BEFORE seen Battlefield 2142 Concept Art

It's been awhile since I have posted here, but guys I found something so badass and so majestical that you won't believe your eyes.

I found some artwork on the game which I never saw before on this website.

Seems like this guy was been working on Battlefield 2 and 2142 level design.

It's the 2142 pictures that really amaze me. If the damn development team had given more time then we wouldn't have all these damn bugs, glitiches, hacking in the game.

The maps also would have been more realized and more detailed. Want proof here's a concept for Camp Gibraltar.

Love concept art. However like most games everything has to be tweaked for performance and other stuff. But they are pretty cool looking.

Looking at the pre-concept art before a game always makes you wonder things like "Well why wasn't this model in the game?" Or "Why was this gun never used in the game, I looks sick!!"

But think of if all this stuff was in the game, and we were looking at what we see in the game now. It would look insanely new and sick, and we'd still wonder why it wasn't in the game.

I think that 2142 would have been a bit more successful if they could've pulled off that dark look you see in some of the art. It gives it that much more of a different feel which I think fans were looking for.

Awesome artwork I love it. So much atmosphere and mood in them, it must be hard to transfer that to a game, but I can see the inspiration.

I agree with webs. If you look at the desert art as well, with all the dust and the heat, that's missing in the game as well, so basically some atmosphere is missing all in all.

The ingame doesn't even come close. Which is so annoying. Even Battlefield 2 should have done better job and fell on it's face.
