I would guess the more people in the server - the more information the game needs to send with each packet which would in turn affect the latency of your connection.

I never play more the 40 players anyhow. More than that and the game quickly becomes chaotic. Each to their own though

Three words. Blood and Gore. LOTS of Blood and Gore. When people are hit by insta-kill things, like nades body parts go flying off and leave a giant mess of blood and remains.

That won't work in a mainstream game like this. Company of Heroes didn't even have the gore that often other than large weapons destroying the body parts of oh so sorry soldiers.

Having blood all over the game would probraly turn off a lot of people who came here just to play a squad based game not Doom 4.0 or Dead Space.

I am not interested in seeing brains & guts splashed all over my LCD. It's just a game, not real war.

blood/gore should at least be an option, off by default then.

If they ever did a v2.0 for 2142, I'd like to see a selective-detonation for RDX (so, lay out all 5 of your bundles, and then blow them up individually instead of all at once) and Titans with more sensical guns (the location of the AA guns and their inability to hit anything below the titan's waistline is... dumb). Some kind of terminal hacking kit for the Engineer that would let them cap silos and flags faster would be cool too, but I've mentioned that several times before in our other numerous fantasy wish-list threads. :dead:
you sound like you like to hide in vehicles and shoot titan guns

Personally I would like to introduce some more realism into the animation system. I don't like the way vehicles and soldiers etc just magically appear when they spawn. I would like to see animations for walkers etc. delivered in some way. For example in 2142 v2.0 such things could be air dropped or shot down to earth in pods - a little like the Dawn of War games.
That would be more realistic, and add vehicle drops as well.

Insta kill snipers? As it wasn't easy enough to sit in a tower and shoot people lol.
