caus ive only been able to play on high with the soundcard i got but then i switched it back to medium

Yeah but I couldn't tell the difference between the Ultra and High setting so I just run high.

i noticed a slight difference between high and ultra high

been playin on ultra since i bought the game.

play now on maxed out settings with aa set to 8x

looks awesome

o and on a short note i think the master server is playing up again
keep getting booted off servers

i got a X-fi card and it sounds pretty good on ultra high plus i recently got my 9800 GTX mo god and it makes the game run so much smoother (sorta) from 30 fps from a ****ty 7600 GeForce to 99,99 fps

Ultra requires a X-fi card and yes it sounds fantastic.

Except an X-Fi XtremeAudio's, they are re branded Audigy cards and don't work in Ultra/X-Fi mode.

It says you need X-FI to run Ultra High. Every time I switch it, it goes back to High.

Either, you have an X-Fi Xtreme Audio or you have left the card on "Entertainment Mode" as opposed to "Game Mode".

Change it in Creative Audio Console.

I have the Xfi Elite pro and also the creative fatal1ty headset. Hey Lolyn, does the remote that came with your elite pro work? I never got mine to work at all.

Same headset I have.

Well the only difference that I noticed on Ultra High (Russian Sniper vid on youtube) is that the soldiers say more phrases.

i've been playing on Low for ages, i just realised i could play on Ultra but i can't stand it. I'm not used to the sounds, the Ganz and all heavy guns sound so different.

Yeah medium is in between really, but low to high is nuts. Personally I think its better to use high/medium because on low you can't hear knives as good or enemy soldiers.
