I have yet to see auto grenade launchers in any version of BF2.

Perhaps spamming the frags could be considered the equivalent, especially in Karkand

Mate how the hell is nade spam realistic?

On a 64 player server karkand it's a mess. When 32 per side starts throwing their 6 nades in the beginning it makes a rain of 384 grenades at best. And this happens before anyone has even made contact with the enemy because the map is so small and you know where the enemies will come after you have played a round on that map.
