Both modes require aim, both modes have spamming as a tactic. It just depends on what play style you chose. But PLEASE, don't try to debate that spamming through walls in hardcore is less deadly than it is in softcore.
Oh, and if you think that video proves the point that you aim more in HC, watch me play softcore :)
And, I know most people here who play softcore gave hardcore a try because they like the idea of a "realistic" game. The fact is, and it was said before-- call of duty 4 was not built to be a realistic game. If you do not believe me, play singleplayer. Just look at the swarms of enemies trying to kill you, regenerating health, and the unlockable ARCADE mode. Even look at how big the map sizes are, the way people move, jump. It's too fluid to be realistic.
I enjoy realism, but this is not the game to do it with. I'll be looking forward to Operation Flashpoint 2 to crave my realism hunger
