Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.

I cant see it being announced before BF:H is released. It would destroy any hype EA/ Dice are building for the game. I know it is a free game but if nobody/ very feew people play it because they are waiting for bf3 to come out a few weeks/ months later it would be pointless making it.

Completely the opposite actually, with all the gamers being taken away to consoles and other games such as BF:BC and TF2 the idea of this patch is to bring back the older gamers to BF2 and reignite that flame for PC gaming, shortly after patch release BF3 will be announced with all the old BF2 fans there to hear it.

It is hard to say if they would talk about it. Seems like a good time to do it, but on the flip, they might not want to be one the hook for saying "Summer 2009" either.

What will be the timeline for BF3. I enjoy the modern combat setting but I can see that getting stale for a lot of people. Maybe have it 30 years in the future with just minimal technical advances but not so much that it becomes unbelievable like 2142(which I think is great in its own right).
I'm looking forward to it and I know that if it sucks I still have bf2 and 2142 to fall back on.

Ok... and if they do announce it, will it be like when they announced BF2?
When I first saw BF2 (and yes, I know this has been thoroughly discussed) it looked and played completely different from the BF2 that we've all come to know and love [well, most of us]. The vehicles/skins were different, there were laser designators, characters would change their appearances if you played for so long, etc.
*At the last one, for example: They said that if you were to fly a lot, your character would take on the skin of a pilot. Obviously wasn't suited for gameplay, because you don't want to run around looking like that, but you get my point.
To be honest, even if they do announce it (which I doubt they will) I won't be saying to myself, "wow, this game looks awesome!" Because I know that it will probably undergo many changes, and I don't want to start thinking it's something it's not.
