No announcement. Yay.

About the closest thing was MAG (Massive Action Game - yeah, imaginative title huh?) and even then, we didn't get to see in-game action: I really think the industry should stop with the practice of using pre-rendered or CGI movies to hype up their sh*tty games.

It's f*cking annoying.

^^ Agreed... may look good, but it hardly shows anything about the game. But hey, it works on average gamers, so they're not going to cater to the (fewer) hardcore gamers by showing ingame footage (at least more often than CGI).

I wouldn`t mind if they stick to the placeholder name (MAG). Game would be even more awesome that way.

I seriously doubt it`s gonna be 128vs128 (divided into squads) all on one map. Prolly 8v8 8v8 8v8 8v8 8v8..., each separated.
If it will truly be 256, all battling it out on one huge map without lag, I will be impressed.

Planetside did it, but it wasn`t exactly a pretty game. And lag did kick in at times.

They already stated that it would be on one map having access to each part of the map so it truly will be 128v128 and it is apparently already in Beta tests.

To have a lag free game with 255 ppl ****ing around, they have to cut corners somewhere.

Sony did make PlanetSide and that game had a subscription. I wouldn't be surprised if MAG has one too.

Yeah, I see what you mean. Anti-noob strategy, only those who are loyal will get BF3.

A ton of skilled people will get it, and there will likely be good competition.
