I can personally attest to those who do it to piss people off in pubs as I have done pretty much everything other than hack to get the same reaction. Some clannies and I would occasionally make mock tags and names and storm a server, tking, force tking, vehicle ramming, wall glitching (so funny in Omaha 42, my god), and basically whatever we could do to piss people off. It was especially fun when we could get 15-20 people in a server and use our numbers to vote-kick everyone. It's great to get a reaction out of people, especially the pub-stars and stat masters that completely miss the point of the game.

There must be something wrong with you, getting your pleasure by pissing other people off, it is really childish and immature. And you also seemed to miss the point of the game by taking such action.

One of my buddies who I used to do this with took it a step-further and started hacking blatantly to piss people off. Knowing this person I can attest to the fact that he is not a retarded 12-year old with no life.

My bro also used to play CSS quite a bit but had to either quit or resort to hacks to keep up. I knew what he was saying when it was impossible for me to find a server without at least 1-10 hackers in it (**** I hate CSS so much). He hacked for a while, quit, and never went back. I also have a friend that griefs people in CSS, basically finds servers with no admins, runs around speed-hacking and head-shotting people until he's emptied the server out, all the while denying he hacks and asking if anyone will recruit him. I've been at his house while he has done this and I thought it was ****ing hilarious.

You must be stupid. In your second paragraph you stated that you could not stand those type of hackers, now you say its hilarious!

I've only ever hacked on CSS, and that was a long time ago. It was fun at first, but after a while, it's like "Whats the point in this?". It just removes the adrenaline rush, You think oh am i going to be killed or will i get this guy but with hacks you know where such and such is and as soon as he's halfway around the corner, you'll have blown his brains all over the pavement.

Statpadding, in my opinion is worse, because it's just so retarded that points matter to you that much over the enjoyment of the game, that you go and sit in a corner somewhere being killed and revived all over again.

I find it funny how some people talk of cheaters as if they're some completely different unknown species. People who cheat at video games are just normal people.

Actually I know this person IRL, so I clearly can attest to that fact. He is one of the most successful and fun persons I know. He lives far away so I don't see him often but I have visited him before when in town, based entirely off of a clan-based game friendship. That's probably the only thing of value I've taken from gaming, is the friendships I've made along the way, not the points or online competition wins and championships. Once again so very sorry for preventing you from getting points for 5 minutes, I know this must have done tremendous psychological damage to you.

Stupid, yes... That must be what all of those IQ and aptitude tests were for when I was considered a child genius and why I do so well in school with no effort. You're absolutely right, it SHOULDN'T take more than a week to teach myself calculus, I guess I'm just a big ol' dummy. If you re-read what I had wrote (do it a few times, I can tell it takes you a while to comprehend things) you'd notice the only hackers I dislike are ones who do it and think they're good, who are in self-denial that they really hack, and who occasionally try to sneak into competition. Once you've matured to a certain level you'll realize that any and all seriousness on the internet is thrown out the window. I would say that the internet is the most least likely place to act serious. Seriousness cannot exist with such massive anonymity.

People talk about hacking as it is the equivalent to cheating in sports when in reality it's much more like people pulling a prank on one another and getting amusement out of it. The victim of the prank may not be happy or respond kindly, but that is the nature of a prank. There is nothing to be earned by hacking in video games other than ranks and points (which no mature person should care about) based on skill-ignorant ranking systems. Any event held for gaming where there is money to be made is done via LAN, so it's impossible to actually gain through hacking. So to all those ignorant morons who can't come up with a decent comparison, stop suggesting hackers are the same as steroid gobbling baseball players who are rewarded with millions of dollars for their ill deeds. Also with hacking the victims are not subject to any significant immediate or prolonged damage. They basically got their feelings hurt. Boo... ****ing... hoo...

I would ask where he downloaded it so I can get it to and play bf2 on an equal playing field. I'm sick and tired of logging onto Infantry only servers only to get blasted by someone who is on a hill 1,000 meters away. Since no new updates to BF2 will ever be released, I thinks time every single one of us grabs an aimbot so BF2 is back to being an even playing field.

And why the hell shouldnt people get angry when someone comes along and ruins it? Im sorry but on the CSS servers I admin, I will insta ban anyone that is cheating or being a smacktard (smacktard including several things)

Just because you think it is funny to try and rage people in an online game does not mean that you should but given that most people lack the empathy to understand anothers point of view it is all to common to see these pricks try and justify themselves

You are right its a game, a game for enjoyment when played in a certain way.

But people do not play these games so some deject can come onto their server and ruin it for them; they may have some reasons but simply put they are being a twat if they are acting as such
