Thats really harsh man. I'd get on to Gamestop straight away if you haven't already or maybe try EA. You might still be able to get it sorted by the weekend.

What a rip off... I'm sorry to hear it didn't work.

What first started off as miscommunication has turned out to be a disaster!

        That's just f*cked up...

You need to call to the Gamestop. And demand a new code...

Here's a really nice video I found of somebody playing the demo.

All I could do was watch and marvel because of course, none of us here got lucky, so I figured I would try to put this whole mess behind me and just sit back and enjoy. So officially, I'll be practicing my patience until next week.

          Enjoy! :)

Again, this is not me playing the demo. It belongs to somebody on the Xbox 360 forums called RedBean... Not to mention, the video has absolute great quality!

            ^^

For once, someone knows how to record from TV and doesn't record with one hand on the joystick, and the other holding the camera... Awesome quality..

One thing i really like in the game(no, i don't have the demo) is the gun sounds.. They are just amazing. And more realistic...

Yes, I noticed that too, and I thought they were simply awsome! Wish I was playing the demo too...

Yeah good video. Shame you didn't see more of the chopper tho. I loved the BF2 choppers and I hope these are pretty similar.

RedBean (on the Xbox 360 forums) actually told everyone what he used, but it's very expensive after looking it up, not to mention, very bad ***!

I use the Hava Wireless HD to capture the video in 480p, then upconvert it to 720p with Sony Vegas 8, and upload it to Vimeo, which hosts video in 720p HD.

Well if play.com's word is worth anything anymore, Us Brits 'should' be playing it by Monday.

What i like from the demo footage is it seems the weapons damage is right now, as you can watch any beta footage and see that it takes near enough a whole mag to drop someone. So im glad they sorted that.

                      Neeeearly there, cant wait.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but they're completely different

You use both joysticks in manoeuvre, which is awfully tricky, and sometimes it'll tilt upwards for no reason and you'll keep going backwards into infinity and beyond...

Although, that might be just because I suck...

Some people uses just normal video cam to record. But they don't record the TV screen, they connects the cam straight to TV what gives really good quality...

                          That's what im thinking too...

                          j/k

It can't be that difficult to do... You just need to get used to fly with joysticks...

For example, at first, i was terrible pilot in GTA. But after few hours of flying i started to understand how it works, and i personally think that im pretty solid when it comes to flying now(although i still manage to crash and burn time to times)...

I was going to use GTA as an example, actually :P Saying how it's much easier than on BC... although now i've turned look inversion on... even though it makes it off, it now works better, but still, it doesn't feel like an 'old school' BF2 Heli.

You need to remember that the "old school" BF2 was for PC... And this is for consoles... Of course it might feel really difficult, because you aren't controlling with mouse&Keyboard or with "real" joystick...

With the joystick on consoles, everything is slower to do.. From aiming to moving around... And everything is faster/easier with mouse.

This is the same reason why i think that it takes skill to be good at console FPS's... It's really difficult to master...

OK well if you see me getting into a chopper in the first few days then don't hop in cos I'll probably crash into something if the controls are wierd :p
